Dipping my foot in the mpreg pool to give you all:
They used a condom every time. Even after they'd gone to get tested, it was a fling for both of them, and it wasn't supposed to mean a damn thing.
Only Buck's three months along and Jason won't answer his calls.
Four months, and Cap sits him down and tells him at six he's gonna have to accept being man behind.
Five, and he runs into Jason at the supermarket and tells him he needs his family history. Jason looks spooked, but he overnights it to Buck's loft a week and a half later and Buck sends him a text letting him know he's off the hook.
Jason blocks his number.
Six, and Buck's back to stress baking, just at the firehouse now. He's not allowed to clean much, there aren't a lot of chemicals that are safe, and the probies from B shift bitch about it but they're not carrying a fucking bowling ball around.
At seven, Tommy rounds a corner with his face tipped behind him on a laugh and nearly runs smack into Buck.
When he turns back around he stops dead. Buck can see him doing the math, but even if he was ready to pop it wouldn't quite add up.
He saw Tommy on a call before he started showing and it was the most cordial interaction he's ever had with another firefighter.
---
They say hi. Tommy introduces him to his friend Henry. Buck gestures like he's got bigger plans than going home and eating a pint and a half of ice cream. They say goodbye.
---
Tommy calls him an hour later and asks if he can stop by.
---
"So he's just... not going to be involved?"
"He's twenty-five and a terrible person, so no. It was a fling. The sex was hot."
Tommy grimaces. "Do you need anything?"
"You got a spare bladder?"
---
At eight and a half they put Buck on bed rest and he throws an absolute fit about it. Eddie spends three days watching him furiously clean the loft with the natural shit he'd bought the day he saw those two lines. Hen threatens to bring Mara over to sit on him. Maddie listens to him rant for an hour and then brings him peanut butter banana toast with pickles in bed.
Tommy drops by with his massage gun and swears up and down he actually consulted an OB about which muscles it was safe to use on.
"How do you know an OB?"
Tommy looks shifty. "Do you want me to stay?" He ignores Buck's goggle eyes. Nods his head decisively. "I should stay."
---
Tommy camps out on his couch for two and a half weeks and already has the go-bag in his hands by the time Buck gets down the stairs.
Buck asks him if he wants to be in the room and despite the panicked look in his eyes, Tommy says yes.
---
"They asked me why I wasn't listed on the birth certificate," Tommy hisses, little baby Buckley dwarfed in his arms. He's been staring at her button nose for half an hour now, and Buck keeps trying to remind himself that this isn't permanent.
"What did you say?" Buck asks, genuinely curious.
Tommy's gaze is sad when it meets Buck's. "I didn't."
Like he can't quite help himself, he reaches a free hand in and boops her nose. She's out, though. She likes the sound of Tommy's voice.
Buck sighs. "She recognized you immediately." He's read the books. A million and two of them. Babies know the people that are around, the people that are close.
Amelia knows Tommy.
"It's not just me anymore, Tommy," he intones, and Tommy turns back up to look at him. Startled. Hopeful.
"I've been babyproofing my house like a lunatic for two months," he whispers, and Buck reaches out to rub a hand over the thin skin of Amelia's forehead before he catches Tommy's fingers in his own.

The Alchemy (j.m)
Request: @mrslestappen âMay I request ( shy!Kook!Reader x JJ Maybank ) pleaseeeeee, where she has been friends with the boys just like Kie, (Kie, her and Sarah were the trio of friends) and after they reconciled she is super happy because she has her two best friends back. And let's just say JJ has a soft spot for her, even though she's a kook he's always taken care of her. And they have matching necklaces (the shark tooth one, let's just say that when he got his he also created hers and they have always had matching necklaces) + kind of obsessed with her (in a nice way) and let's say because she's always been with the guys she's never really been in a relationship so imagine the reaction JJ would have if she tells him she wants him to be her first kiss (first kiss is soft, second one is hot/possesive poor JJ will devour her, because only he knows how long he waited) and the rest I'll leave it up to you. (In my head this sounded better sorry)â
Summary: she always was going to pick him, he just needed to show her.
JJ Maybank didn't think he'd ever like a Kook. Hell, he didnât think heâd ever even tolerate one. The Kooks were the people who had everything he and the other Pogues didnât.
They were the rich kids on the other side of the island, the ones with trust funds, yachts, and pristine lives. JJ had seen enough of their type to last a lifetime, and he was pretty sure the feeling was mutual.
Except for her.
Her name was Y/N Y/L/N, and she was the only Kook JJ had ever been able to stomach. In fact, he more than just "stomached" her â he adored her.
He couldn't remember when it started, but he was pretty sure it was around the time he realized girls were more than just annoying distractions during surf sessions.
Somewhere between scraped knees on the beach as kids and sharing late-night bonfire confessions, Y/N had become more than just his friend.
She wasnât like the rest of the Kooks. Y/N might have lived in one of the fanciest houses on Figure Eight, but she didnât act like it. She hung out with JJ, John B, and Pope since they were kids, running wild through the marshes and crashing parties on the Cut.
Her mom used to be close with John Bâs mom before she left, which meant Y/N spent almost as much time in the Chateau as John B himself. She was their bridge between worlds, best friends with Kie and, surprisingly, even got along with Sarah Cameron after their recent reconciliation.
JJ had given her a shark tooth necklace that matched his own back when they were kids, and she had worn it ever since. The necklace was a symbol, a quiet testament to their shared adventures and secrets.
It rested just below her collarbone, a constant reminder that she belonged with the Pogues, even if she didnât entirely fit into their world.
For the most part, JJ was content just having her around. But sometimes, like right now, with the sun setting over the water and Y/N laughing at something John B had said, he couldnât shake the gnawing feeling in his chest that he wanted more. More than just her friendship, more than just stolen glances and the occasional accidental brush of hands.
||
It was one of those hot, sticky Outer Banks afternoons when Y/N came to find him. JJ was at the dock, cleaning up the HMS Pogue, when he saw her walking toward him. She looked like sunshine personified, with her long hair catching the light and her eyes sparkling as if she held the secrets of the universe.
âHey, JJ,â she greeted, her voice light and carefree, but there was something nervous in the way she bit her lip.
âWhatâs up, Princess?â he asked, straightening up and wiping his hands on his jeans.
She fidgeted with the hem of her shirt, her fingers toying with the shark tooth necklace he had given her. âI, uh, need to talk to you about something.â
JJâs heart sank a little, the teasing grin on his face faltering. Usually, that phrase meant bad news. âWhat did you do this time? Burn down another country club?â
Y/N rolled her eyes but laughed. âNo, JJ, not this time. Itâs⌠itâs about a guy.â
JJ froze. âA guy?â he echoed, feeling like the ground had just shifted beneath him.
âYeah,â she said, her voice softening. âI⌠I got asked out on a date.â
JJâs stomach dropped, the words hitting him like a punch to the gut. Heâd always known this day would come eventually, but he wasnât prepared for how much it would hurt. âWho?â he managed to ask, trying to keep his voice steady.
âHis nameâs Trevor. Heâs new in town, just moved here from Wilmington,â she explained, her eyes flicking to JJâs face to gauge his reaction.
He knew the guy â tall, dark hair, probably some rich Kook kid whose family had money to burn. JJ felt the jealousy bubble up, hot and fierce. âAnd whenâs this date supposed to happen?â
âTomorrow night,â Y/N said, her voice barely above a whisper.
He couldnât believe what he was hearing. The girl heâd been in love with for years was going on a date with some random guy who had just waltzed into town. âDo you even like this dude?â he asked, trying to sound nonchalant but failing miserably.
âI donât know yet,â she admitted, looking genuinely conflicted. âBut⌠what if he tries to kiss me?â
JJâs jaw clenched. âThen tell him to back off,â he snapped, his temper flaring.
Y/N sighed, her shoulders slumping. âItâs not that simple, JJ. Iâve never⌠Iâve never kissed anyone before.â
The admission hung in the air between them, and JJ felt his heart stutter. Y/N, the girl who could light up a room with just her smile, had never had her first kiss. It was almost unfathomable. He swallowed hard, trying to tamp down the tidal wave of emotions crashing over him.
âY/NâŚâ he began, not sure what to say.
âI know itâs dumb,â she said quickly, looking down at her feet. âBut I donât want to mess it up. What if Iâm terrible at it?â
He wanted to laugh because there was no way in hell sheâd be bad at anything. âAre you seriously asking me for kissing advice?â he asked, his voice laced with disbelief.
She looked up at him, her eyes wide and earnest. âActually⌠I was hoping you could⌠you know⌠be my first kiss.â
JJâs mind went blank. Of all the things he expected to hear, that wasnât one of them. He stared at her, trying to wrap his head around the idea that the girl heâd been crazy about for years was asking him to be her first kiss. But not because she wanted him in that way â no, it was just so she wouldnât screw up with some other guy.
âY/N, are you serious?â he asked, his voice a low rasp.
She nodded, her cheeks turning pink. âI trust you, JJ. I know you wonât make it weird.â
Too late for that, he thought bitterly. But he couldnât say no to her, not when she was looking at him like that. âAlright,â he said, his voice barely more than a whisper. âBut if Iâm gonna be your first kiss, Iâm not gonna half-ass it.â
Her eyes sparkled with gratitude, and she took a step closer to him.
They stood on the dock, the sun casting golden light over the water. JJâs heart was pounding in his chest as Y/N moved even closer, so close he could feel her breath on his skin. He could see the nervous flutter of her eyelashes, the way her lips parted just slightly.
âJust⌠close your eyes, okay?â he whispered, his voice thick with emotions he couldnât quite name.
Y/N nodded, her eyes fluttering shut, her lips trembling ever so slightly. JJ took a deep breath, his hand moving up to gently cup her cheek. His thumb brushed against her skin, and he could feel her shiver under his touch.
Then, with a tenderness he didnât even know he was capable of, JJ leaned in and kissed her.
It was soft, gentle, the kind of kiss that could be over in the blink of an eye if you werenât careful. But for JJ, it felt like the world had stopped. Her lips were warm and soft against his, and he could feel the way her fingers clutched at his shirt, holding onto him like he was the only thing keeping her grounded.
When he finally pulled away, they were both breathing hard, their eyes locked.
âHow was that?â he asked, his voice barely more than a rasp.
Y/N was staring at him, her eyes wide and dazed. âThat was⌠perfect,â she whispered. But then, as if realizing herself, she shook her head. âBut maybe⌠one more time? Just to make sure Iâve got it?â
JJâs breath hitched. This time, he didnât hold back. He kissed her again, harder, more desperate, like he was trying to pour every unsaid word and unspoken feeling into that kiss. His hands cupped her face, Y/N melted into him, her hands tangling in his hair, and he was lost. He was completely and utterly lost in her.
When they finally broke apart, they were both gasping for air. JJ rested his forehead against hers, his hands still cradling her face. âDonât go on that date, Y/N,â he whispered, his voice raw with emotion.
Y/N looked at him, her eyes searching his. And then she smiled, that beautiful, sunlit smile that he loved so much. âYeah⌠I think I need to cancel that date,â she said softly.
||
It wasnât long before the rest of the Pogues found out. Kie was ecstatic, practically tackling Y/N in a hug when she found out, while John B just grinned knowingly. Pope was the most surprised, but even he seemed happy for them.
âFinally!â Kie exclaimed, throwing her arms around JJ and Y/N âI was wondering how long it would take you two to figure it out.â
JJ just grinned, pulling Y/N close to his side. âBetter late than never, right?â
The group celebrated their newfound relationship with a bonfire at the beach, laughter and music filling the night air. JJ couldnât keep his hands off Y/N, whether it was holding her hand or wrapping an arm around her waist. Heâd spent so long wanting this, and now that he had it, he wasnât letting go.
As the night drew to a close, JJ pulled Y/N aside, away from the others. âIâm glad you picked me,â he whispered, brushing a strand of hair away from her face.
Y/N smiled up at him, her eyes shining. âI always would have picked you, JJ. I just needed you to show me first.â
He kissed her again, slow and sweet, the kind of kiss that felt like coming home. And for the first time in his life, JJ Maybank felt like he had everything he ever wanted.
The waves crashed around them, the world fading away until it was just the two of them, lost in each other. The Pogues cheered in the background, but JJ didnât hear any of it.
All he could focus on was the girl in his arms, the girl who had always been more than just a Kook, more than just a friend. She was everything.
And she was his.

Love Maze
Vi x Fem!Reader
Synopsis: Helping Vi realize that she can break out of this loop that's she's in
Warning: Slightly Angsty and slightly out of character
A/n: Arcane season 2 just came out and i'm still reeling from everything, just had to make this cause i was inspired by episode 3 it broke my CaitVi heart
It was just one of those days,
There weren't many days where you would get the house all to yourself to enjoy so you didn't waste the chance to relax when your roommate said she was going out to run some errands.
You were currently enjoying your day re-reading through your favorite book series until you were disturbed by a sudden knock at the door.
You skeptical and slightly annoyed you went to go answer the door. Opening the door is when you came face to face with the pink-haired woman you came to know as Vi. She almost looked slightly surprised to see you at the door but kept her composure
"Is she here ? " Vi asked worriedly
"Hi nice to see you too, but unfortunately your girlfriend isn't here, she went out to do some stuff" you replied
She lightly sighs before saying, "Well if that's the case then I guess I'll wait for her till she gets back. That's fine with you, right ?" She says walking through the door before you can get a response out. You sigh closing the door behind you knowing she would stay and wait either way.
There was an awkward silence between the two of you guys so you took it upon yourself to try and get a conversation going.
"So....what brings you here ?..Is it the same issue again ?"
Vi glares at you but after some time does lightly nods her head to confirm your suspicions. You kept quiet lightly sighing to yourself.
The cycle had become almost predictable at this point: a fight would ignite, Caitlyn would storm off ghosting Vi, and then, a few days later, Vi would return, offering half-hearted apologies that seemed to smooth things over just enough to delay the inevitable crash. Caitlyn never seemed to learn, and neither did Vi. But the truth was, they both were just playing the same tired game, and you wanted all this nonsense to come to an end once and for all.
Here,â you said, slipping behind the counter to make a couple of drinks. âLetâs take the edge off. Iâm sure you could use something stronger than water right now.â
Vi didn't argue. She sank down onto the couch, taking a deep breath, clearly exhausted from everything. As you handed her the glass, you kept your tone light, almost casual. "So, how's work? Howâs your family? Anything to distract you from⌠well, everything?"
She gave a weak laugh, taking a sip of her drink. "Workâs fine. Same as usual. Nothing exciting," she muttered, looking down at her hands, clearly distracted. "Familyâs... okay. You know how it is, always got something goin on"
You nodded, pretending to listen, but your mind was already working. "Yeah, I get that. But seriously, whenâs the last time you actually did something for you, Vi? Like, something that made you feel alive? Not just for Cait, or for your job, but for yourself?"
That was a hook. Vi wasnât even aware of it. She leaned forward, a little too eager to talk about herself, to talk about anything that didnât involve the draining mess she was in. She starts going into detail about the many things she's been interested in but never got the chance to due to feeling like she's alway has to balance a thousand things in her life.
"Well if I'm gonna be real honest with you Violet, it sounds like this relationship is just another thing holding you back" you say with sincerity.
"Itâs just... itâs not that simple, okay? Violet shot back.
me and her have history. Weâve been through a lot together. Andâ" she paused, trying to gather her thoughts. "Yeah, things have been tough lately. But we love each other. I know she has her issues, but I really think we can fix this. I donât want to just... give up on everything weâve built."
You almost rolled your eyes at the word historyâas if that was supposed to make everything else okay.
"Vi," ."Youâve been âfixingâ things for months now. You keep telling yourself itâs just a phase, that Caitâs going to change, that things will get better. But they never do. You are stuck in a loop and you canât keep pretending like nothingâs wrong."
"So, what? You want me to just leave her? After everything? Youâre not even trying to help me,Youâre supposed to be my friend. You should be supporting me in making this work, not... pushing me away from her!"Viâs jaw clenched, her chest rising and falling with each breath as if she was holding back.
Her words stung just a little bit but you knew how to respond back. "I am doing this because i care enough to tell you the truth Vi, you deserve so much better than this. Don't let Caitlyn stress you out so much, especially when there's already a lot on your plate".
"You just don't get it. You donât know what she's like when weâre together,â she says, still feeling obligated to defend her relationship.
"Maybe i don't and i might be wrong about all of this, but all I'm saying is that if you were my girlfriend id be the one coming to apologize and id try to find every possible way to make it up to you." You say leaning closer towards Vi
She sputters trying to find the words to defend herself, every single word unfortunately dying in her throat.
"Iâd be the one begging you for another chance after acting like a dumbass. I'd spoil you and not let you do anything till you forgave me" You continued.
The silence that fell between you and Vi after your last words was thick with unspoken things. Vi feels as if her heart is beating out her chest as you continue to close the distance between the two of you guys.
"You do deserve better, Vi," you said, your voice soft but certain. "And when youâre ready, Iâll be here for you. Not just as your friend, but... more than that, if you want. You donât need Cait to feel loved. Iâm not going anywhere."
Vi looked at you, her eyes wide, and in that moment, it was like everything clicked for her
You wanted to kiss her. You wanted to show her that everything she needed wasnât in Cait. That there was more for her. That she didnât have to settle.
Just as you leaned forward, your lips barely inches from hers, the door to the room creaked open, and the sudden sound of keys jingling at the front door broke the fragile bubble that had formed between the two of you.
You two quickly back away from each other, moving to the opposite sides of the couch, averting eyes as Caitlyn walks into the room
A/n: Sorry for the cliffhanger and sorry to all the caitvi shippers, i love them too...i just can't pretend that i wouldn't want vi if they broke up fr.

Thinking about your first christmas spent with Alexis Ness.
Germany's streets were full of bright red and green lights. The buzzling of people buying presents for their loved ones filled the stores, and a common yet gentle christmas melody rung in the air, creating a movie-like scenario.
Amongst the seemingly infinite crowd of people, you and your boyfriend, Alexis Ness, walked hand in hand through a busy Munich. It was one of his rare off weeks. I guess even Bayern's managers know about the whole christmas' spirit thing and decided to give their player a little break.
"Look, Lexis! It's snowing!" You smiled, stretching your free hand to touch a little snowflake that fell from the night sky. The night was so cold that little puffs of hair could be seen when you spoke "Isn't it beautiful?"
"Yes, meine Liebe" he said, looking straight at you and not even once sparing a glance at the snowflake. How could he, when the prettiest one he's ever known was right in front of him, holding his hand like she'd die if she let go? "It is."
Ness' parents never celebrated Christmas. Actually, they never celebrated any holidays. This was the first christmas he was really getting to enjoy. And all because of you, his sweet girlfriend. God, just thinking about you made his heart combust.
How did he bag you, really?
"Come on! We need to be quick or else the book store is going to be closed by the time we get there!" You laughed, pulling him with you and running.
"Slow down, Angel!" He laughed, tightening his hold on your hand and running after you, muttering a quick "Sorry" to the people you both bumped into.
Your matching Harry Potter houses scarfs flowing in the wind together created a beautiful picture, and your laughs mixed with the sound of christmas songs and bells. One hand holding yours and the other holding his hat so it wouldn't fall, Ness tried to drink in every single milimeter of you, wanting to keep the picture of your smiling face in his memory forever.
He was really enjoying this. Was christmas always this fun?!
"Willkommen!" Said the sweet bookstore lady. She was a short old woman with round glasses and a gentle smile on her face. She matched the christmas vibe perfectly "What do you lovebirds want?" She smiled at you both, which made Alexis blush a little.
Being yours was the greatest title he has ever achieved. He was smitten for you, and couldn't even believe you actually wanted to be with him. You were just so, so perfect!
"I'd like a child's book, please. It's for my little cousin! She really likes princesses, so if you had something like that it would be great!" You smiled at her
"Oh! I have just the right thing. You wait right here and I'll go fetch it!" She smiled right back at you, entering a little door on the side of the cashier.
The store was pretty much empty, since people don't seem to like books anymore. Only you, Alexis and the lady's cat were there. The weather was warm because of the heater, and the wood bookshelves made you feel like you were in a 1950's movie.
You and Ness sat down at a little table on the side of the store. He began playing with your fingers gently, and then looked at you with such fondness in his eyes that made you melt.
"This is the last one, right?" Ness asked, smiling
"Yep!" You answered
Actually, this was not the last present you wanted to buy. You wanted to buy something for Ness, but didn't know what it would be. It was your first christmas spent with him, so it needed to be the perfect gift.
"When will you give it to her?" He asked "To your little cousin, I mean"
"My uncle will dress up as Santa to give it to her and my other cousins" you smiled, and then sighed longingly while a memory came to your head "My family does that every year. It makes me remember when I was the one to recieve gifts from Santa. Good times. My favorite one was a doll I got when I was like, eight." You then remembered your "issue", and realized you could know what gift to give Ness based on his own favorite gift.
Bingo! It would make him remember the good part of his childhood and he would like it! After all, who doesn't feel like letting out your inner kid sometimes?
"What was your favorite gift from Santa?"
Ha, you're a genius!
Suddenly, Ness' smile dropped, and he looked almost embarassed by something. He looked at the table with a sad expression on his face and blushed
Oh oh. Maybe you're not so genius.
"I-I never got anything from Santa" he admitted, shamefully "My parents didn't really celebrate christmas, so I never got one. I always put my sock up though, but he never came"
That was the saddest thing you've ever heard.
"Oh, Lexis!" You caressed his face gently. You then got up and brought him closer to you.
His shoulders trembled a little, so you enveloped him in a hug
"I'm so sorry you had to go through this!" You couldn't back off now. You needed to buy exactly what little kid Alexis wanted. "What did you want to recieve, though?"
"Anything would be fine" he muttered, voice muffled by your coat "But I really wanted a wand. You know Harry Potter's wand?" You nodded "That one"
"I found the book!" The old lady came back, interrupting the moment. She quickly realized it though, and was fast to apologize "I'm sorry, did I interrupt something?"
"No." You assured her "No, don't worry. Let me see the book."
"Here" she handled it to you
"Sounds good" you said after analyzing it "I'll take it. Wait here, Love. I'll be right back"
"I'll pay for it."
"No need, Lexis. I have money"
"I insist."
"Okay then..."
"You both are so cute together"
Once again, Ness blushed like the lovesick fool he was.
Sadly, you didn't have the time to even tease him about it. While he was wrapping your cousin's future book, there was only one thought going through your head:
You finally found Alexis' gift.
"Merry Christmas, Love!" You woke him up by whispering it in his ear, followed by a hug right after.
"Good morning, liebe. And merry christmas to you, too!" He smiled, hugging you just as strongly as you did to him before.
This was really nice. Just you and him, together, cuddling and enjoying each other's presence. He really could get used to this.
"You know, I heard something downstairs while we were sleeping!" You said, faking a terrified expression
"Really?!" Ness asked, fully believeing what you said "Do I need to call the police?"
"NO!" You shouted, but quickly composed yourself "I mean, no! Why don't you just go check?"
"...you sure?"
"Yeah! Go downstairs! More precisely, go take a look under our christmas tree!!"
"Uhm... okay then"
It's not like he could EVER disagree with you anyway.
And so, Ness jumped off the bed, heading towards the christmas tree you both decorated together.
"Where did you say I need to check, again?" He asked, a little confused as to why you were recording the whole thing ever since he got out your shared bedroom.
"Underneath the tree! See if there's something there!" You said, not being able to contain how giddy you were feeling.
"There's a... present" Ness exclaimed, holding the wrapped box and scaning all of it's side
"Oh my! Who would have thought?" You smiled, giggling "Who's the owner of the box, I ponder!"
"The thief that invaded our house!" Ness shouted, confident that he got the question right
"Lexis, no." You deadpan, putting the phone down and walking closer to him "Look for a name in the wrapping"
And he did as he was told.
"To: Lexis" He read, and you smiled "Who gave me this, you?"
"Oh, no no! I was sleeping the whole time!" You then faked a surprised expression "Maybe it was Santa!"
"...Santa?"
"Yes! Open it, quickly! It's your christmas present from Santa!"
"Uhm... alright"
He tore the gift open
No way.
No freaking way.
A Harry Potter wand. The thing he always wanted ever since he was a kid.
"Oh wow! Santa really knows you, huh?" You teased, but his brain didn't even register it. He was too focused thinking about other things.
Santa doesn't exist.
This gift couldn't be from Santa. It was from you.
The first christmas present he ever got was from you.
Hell, this wand could be a rock and he would still accept it gladly. Because the gift doesn't matter. What matters is the person who gave it.
You. The love of his life.
He carefully put the wand down and pproached you with big, round eyes.
"Alexis? What are you..."
You couldn't even finish your sentence. He just pulled you in for one of the most heart-felt hugs you ever experienced. His arms wrapped around you in a strong embrace, but not in a umconfortable way. It felt safe. He felt safe.
"Thank you" He muttered, placing his face in the crook of your neck and inhaling your scent and wait - why did your shoulder suddenly feel wet? "Thank you, thank you. Thank you so much. I love you. God, I love you so, so much. You have no idea"
"I love you too, Lexis" You hugged him back, caressing his hair with your hands.
Man, christmas was amazing.
And so the snow began falling again, as the lovers basked in each other's presence.
Christmas is about spending time with those you love. And you were both doing exactly that.
"Merry christmas, Meine Liebe"
"Merry christmas, Lexis"
~ This has been in my drafts since october.

'Every doctor should have one.'
Ratchet x Fem!Reader
SMUT MDNI 18+
--------------------------
Description: Ratchet offers to pick you up after an "event" at a friend's house. Arriving and seeing you walk out after he initially said bye to you that night, he sees just what kind of party it was and what you wore to it.
Warnings: Maybe OOC, horny, lots of describing of the reader's outfit. No penetration, and not really descriptive of smut, but it is there, I promise.
A/N: It came to me in a dream, and I just had to write it; I hope I did our lovely doc justice. Also, don't be mad that I cut off the good stuff; maybe I'll do more like this if you guys actually like it.
Words: 874
--------------------------
He didn't know what made his helm hurt more: the thumping music from the giant house he was currently parked in front of or the strobing lights bleeding through the windows and open doors. He's getting more irritated by the minute of the thought of his cover being blown; it's a bit odd for an ambulance to be sitting outside of a human habisuite, especially if it is not there to take care of the injured or for an emergency. He almost texts you again until he sees you strut out with multiple locals surrounding you; he has to do a double take and just about reset his optics. His engine revs up at the sight of it, a high-collared white latex nurse uniform that stops above your thigh, paired with the medical cross in orange, his orange. Your nurse's hat has the same cross in orange; your white tights lead down to a pair of black heels. Primus, seeing you just made him want to grab you in front of everyone here. Your head turns in his direction at the sound of the engine, and you wave at him. The people surrounding you looked over at him as well. He flashed his lights a few times, and you smiled back. You waltz up to him with a few others still trailing behind you, amazed that you had an ambulance for a ride.
"How the hell did you get an ambulance?" One of the boys by you asked while you started touching the hood of Ratchet.
"My lover owns it, and let me borrow him for the night." You tell him while pushing your body more into Ratchet before hopping up and sitting on his hood. You continue to rub him while you chat with the last few curious people about your ride. All the while, Ratchet was trying not to overheat from having your ass directly on him and not being able to do anything about it. You say your final goodbyes and slap Ratchet before jumping off and entering the driver's seat. You drive in relative silence, waiting for him to complain or even fuss.
"Is your underwear my orange as well?" He starts evenly, and you have to steel yourself not to drop your jaw at his boldness.
"Did you take a hit of synth-en before you came and got me?" You tease while gripping the steering wheel; you can feel his gaze on you even though you don't know where he's looking from in his alt-mode. His engine hums a bit louder before he speaks again.
"Are you even wearing a bra?" he asks lowly. That dress looks so tight." You are grinning so hard at his crassness tonight; you love it when he drops the 'I don't care about anyone' attitude.
"Wanna see the answer to your first question?" You ask as he stops in front of your garage, and never have you been more grateful to live a bit farther from town than now. He turns off his headlights, and you take that as your cue to spread your legs; he moves your seat back a bit, which makes you let out a little squeak. He lets out a little sigh while looking at you. You run your hands down your chest to give him a little show before you show him the answer to his second question. You drag your hand back up your chest and then to your neck; you grab the zipper and slowly pull it down your body. You stop halfway down your naval, slightly pushing the fabric away from your chest. You heard him let out a soft gasp.
"So, doctor, what is your diagnosis?" You ask him sweetly while leaning further back into his seating, spreading your legs a bit further while playing with the edge of your dress.
"Well, I'll have to take a closer look," he tells you. You unbuckle the seat belt, fixing your dress just a little bit, and he transforms back to his bipedal mode. He leans down to your level and then scoops you up in his hands, holding you close to his face, smelling you, and rubbing you against his intake, giving little nips to the bare area of your chest where you opened it originally.
"Mhm, such a pretty nurse you are." He whispers close to your face while giving you little kisses.
"Every doctor should have one." You giggle back before moaning when he nudges his faceplate between your legs; he moves the fabric to the side so he can taste you better. Arching your back into his large glossa, you grind into him while he uses one of his digits to rub your chest. He keeps rubbing and licking and sucking until you gasp and let out a shout of his name. He slows down his ministrations on you; while you catch your breath, he moves to lay against the side of your house. You watch him while you calm down before patting his servo, holding you, and sliding down to his modesty panel. You give him a few grinds, and he groans in response before you stop and smile up at him.
"Care for me to give you a little check-up?"

First: How sfw/nsfw are we allowed to go with asks and whatnot, as well as stuff you won't write? I'm not intending on sending anything crazy, I just don't wanna cross boundaries
Second: Every guy in my family (minus one), married in or born in, is/was military, and I have heard that it's not uncommon for military spouses to cheat on their partner, especially when deployed. I'm not saying dear reader is cheating or anything of the sort, but I could def see some fresh dumbass recruits trying to pull the legendary Lieutenant's wife, if only for bragging rights. Curious how that would shake out (would the recruits ever be seen again, who knows!)
TLDR for the first part, I'm okay with NSFW asks and you can find my list of no goes (as well as the master list for Military Program Spouse) here
Now for the second part
Content Warning; Discussion of size (kind of), discussions of cheating (kind of) (please let me know if I'm missing anything)
Also Reader is fat, like size 18/20 pants, like there's a jiggle no matter what she's doing (remember kids fat isn't a dirty word what size you are doesn't define your morality, your actions do)
Also also please know that my brain does not want to let go of Reader telling Simon "well we wouldn't be in this situation if you could pull bitches" but I don't think it's going to fit in this
Honestly the sex talk had gone better than you had anticipated. In the past when you had tried to explain being demisexual and what that meant for your sexual attraction to other people you'd gotten blank stares, been told you were just picky or that you were just talking about a crush that everyone got. You knew it wasn't, but it got old fast. And while Simon stared as you explained yourself, he didn't push or tell you that it was some new made up sexuality.
It was refreshing.
You weren't even that offended when Simon had stated he had no interest of sleeping with you. You'd come to accept that you weren't everyone's cup of tea, not everyone liked a little jiggle in the wiggle. So you'd be two people who legally shared the last name, roommates, broskis if you will.
You'd agreed that any extramarital activities had to be respectful, discreet, and that if it turned serious divorce was an option on the table. Or well, you listed out your ideas in what you thought was a logical manner and Simon just listened before grunting what you thought was an affirmative and then turning on the TV for some sort of sports game. You were a theater kid growing up, you weren't a fan of sport ball. So the two of you started your married lives with the ever perpetual hall pass.
Not that you ever used yours. Again there was the fact that you only felt any real attraction or desire once you had gotten to know someone, felt a connection that...intrigued your soul for lack of better phrasing. And you are a very self sufficient woman. People weren't typically banging down your door to...well bang, so really you just went about your days.
It was probably why you hadn't noticed the recruit flirting with you at first. At first it was just a polite nod and acknowledgement of who you were when you had to come to base to fill out paperwork. Then there were the times you'd run into him while walking through the neighborhoods. Private (or was he Second Private? You never really paid attention) Pearson was alright, a pretty boy who seemed to know it, given how he seemed to preen with attention once you caught on to what was happening. Yeah he was alright but nothing that really wanted to make you deal with the headache of dealing with two men in your life. Plus you were pretty sure he had mentioned something about working with Simon? You were not a person who shit where you ate.
So you played dumb when he tried to flirt with you, and never took him up on any offers to 'help' you around the house or to show you how to use the gym equipment, after hours of course. The cockiest had to have been when he offered to help you 'stretch' any time. The smile he wore when he offered that one was so slimy you felt like you needed a shower after.
It all came to a head one day in the mailroom. Somehow a random package had been delivered to the house instead of on base, and since Simon was out doing god knows what somewhere in the world it wasn't like he could take it with him. So you were doing your good deed of the day and dropping it off. Only to run into Pearson, who was with friends...even better.
You had tried to just smile politely and wave, acting like you were in the middle of running Very Important Errands. It didn't help much. Pearson and Co still came up to you like you were all the best of friends, Pearson even being so bold as to drape an arm across your shoulders, or he tried you. You side stepped him easily enough to his annoyance.
You lightly chit chatted, looking for an opening to excuse yourself. You'd be blunt if you had to, but you really didn't want to deal with any back lash for being a 'bitch'. Though maybe you should have. He must have sensed your deep rooted desire to get the fuck out of there, because Pearson put on the grosses looking grin, leaning in as if to share a secret.
"The boys and I were going to go out for some drinks tonight. Why don't you come with us? Promise we don't bite."
The last part was whispered liked it was a promise of the opposite. You honestly wanted to barf. A) Drinking wasn't really your scene. B) Pearson definitely wasn't your scene.
"As tempting as that sounds, sorry boys. I uh- I don't drink."
"Oh come on pretty girl, one drink won't hurt you."
You wanted to roll your eyes as Pearson tried to tempt you out, reaching to tuck a piece of hair behind your ear. Thankfully you had heard little rumors that maybe the 141 was coming home. Simon wouldn't mind you using him as an excuse...probably.
"Really I can't. Simon should be coming home soon and I still have things I want to take care of before he's back."
Maybe it was the threat of their CO being back that caused all of them to freeze for a moment, giving you the opening to slip out from their little triangle they made, making your way to the exit. Pearson must have really been desperate, or just that stupid to practically shout after you.
"Come on, you really can't enjoy him more than me right? Doubt he's really all that great and impressive."
Oh that stopped you in your tracks. Simon Riley was a lot of things, annoying, stubborn, an asshole, rude, louder than the fucking heavens when he snored, a person who didn't care if he used up all the hot water, one could even say he was creepy at times. He didn't open up about things, and acted like socializing was the bane of his existence.
He had a sense of humor that people seldom understood, but he still entertained himself. Scared you half to death dozens of times over with how fucking quiet he was, like he was appearing out of thin air, but he'd try to knock to catch your attention if you were in the bedroom or bathroom. Had what was probably a herculean amount of strength in a single bear paw of his, but you'd seen him try to offer a finger for Tombo to sniff when the little curly mop got curious.
You plastered on the biggest polite smile you had, the one that boarder lined on looking a little crazy with how much it stretched your mouth, and spun on your feet to look at the trio of men who really tried to try you this day.
"You all know my husband."
You didn't actually wait for a response as you walked back to the men, who all started to look like they were regretting their choices.
"Lieutenant Riley. You know, Lieutenant "built like a brick shit house" Riley."
You stopped directly in front of Pearson, hands on your hips as you met his stare straight on, before looking him up and down slowly.
"Really what makes you think you can...measure up?"
The scrunch of your face at the end made it very clear that you had decided that the younger man was severely 'lacking' when it came to any kind of measuring. Clearly none of them had expected you to react like this, given that they just stared gobsmacked as you shrugged and waved them good bye with the tips of your fingers, happily making a sassy exit to your freedom.
Simon Riley was a lot of things, and he was your husband. And no one talked shit about your husband except you.
Edit;
There's a second part I want to add to this that I'll probably work on this weekend. I'm very out of the habit of writing so it takes me a hot minute to get stuff down the way I want it. Anyway I hope you like this! And remember
A) Being Fat doesn't make you good or bad
B) I am a greedy greedy goblin who loves getting asks

Titus offered a small smile, kissing him back. He wrapped his arms around Finn and took a deep breath. He'd never told anyone the full story outside of Divon before. Except Divon had to fight to get it out of him, wanting to be able to help him the right way. This time felt different. There was so much uncertainty. He wasn't sure Finn was going to stick around. The thought of Finn knowing his story and having no intentions of coming around again scared him.
"My mom was kidnapped when she was about ten. They trained her to be the perfect sex slave and then sold her off at an auction. She was bought by the governor of Florida and he kept her locked in the basement of one of the houses he used for what he called business trips. Really he was just making excuses to get away from his wife and use my mom in whatever way he pleased. She was sixteen when she got pregnant with me. The guy let her have a little more freedom to roam the house but he made it clear that I was going to be conditioned and sold just like her. I was four the first time I tried to run away. He beat the shit out of me. I tried again when I was eight. That time he sold me off to one of his friends in Texas." His voice wavered a bit. "He used to starve me when I wouldn't listen. I wasn't allowed to wear clothes. He liked seeing how skinny I'd gotten. He kept me until I was sixteen when he sold me off to avoid scandal while running for governor. I ended up in Arizona with some piercer. He made me work the corner every night and I had to meet a quota. If I didn't make enough he'd make me stay out till I did and then he'd punish me. When I was nineteen I met this kid who was like sixteen working the streets. My pimp wanted him, wanted to do to him what was being done to me but I wouldn't let him. The kid had a chance to get out of that. I didn't want someone fucking that up for him. So I took extra punishments. I slipped the kid money any chance I got even though it meant staying out longer, dealing with more aggressive clientele. He's the one who branded me. It was a punishment for giving that kid all the money I made that night. When I was twenty, he sold me off to a friend of his who was a regular. That guy proceeded to drive to New York with me in his trunk. It was with him that the gang found me. Caine was running drugs since there weren't any scraps going on that night. She walked in on them taking pictures of me for an auction and called in the rest of the crew. They gunned everyone down but I was scared. I broke Divon's arm when he tried to grab me and then his leg to make sure he couldn't chase me. I put Alasdair in a headlock, thinking if I took down the tallest guy there they'd leave me alone. But Caine hit me with a mean left hook and knocked my ass out. When I came to we were in Kehlani's car. I took a book of matches off of Aspen and lit the car on fire, not caring if I survived or not. When they finally got me here to the house and to JP I punched him in the face. They left me alone in what's now the guest bedroom and let me have free roam of the house. It took me two weeks before I was finally comfortable enough to talk to anyone. Divon told me I could leave but I'd owe him money for the damages done to his people and the car, or I could stay and join the crew. He told me if I joined that he'd make sure nobody could hurt me like that again. He promised me we'd save anyone we came across in that position. I didn't have any money and there was no way in hell I was going back to selling myself on the streets so I chose to stay. I don't know what became of my mom. The politician that got her pregnant still holds a seat of power and probably still buys and sells others. I used to want to look him in the face, show him what I've become but not anymore. I'm living for me now. The only person I have to prove myself to is me."
"You know my shifty story, it's only fair that I know yours." Finn leaned down to kiss Titus softly before laying across his chest.

Just one?
World count: 1424
(Contains pregnancy, labor, birth)
I insisted on just one. Just one baby then we can be done. I just wanted to see what youâd look like filled up with my baby. You finally agreed to try and not soon after you announced you were pregnant.
Now 9 months along you have to groan as you white knuckle the railing and slowly make your way down the stairs. Youâre huge, the baby inside is massive and weighs heavy on your fame. Most doctors have recommended bed rest at this point in the pregnancy. You, on the other hand, insisted on moving around. Even this close to your due date you waddled around the house, your huge belly swaying while sticking out in front of you.
Due to your huge belly, nothing fits over it. Your massive and round stomach is constantly exposed for everyone to see. All you can comfortably wear these days is a pair of panties and a bra, that your milk filled breasts spilled out of. Youâre so big even if we go out and manage to squeeze you into some clothes, your belly sticks out in every shirt. Even the ones we bought a few sizes bigger in anticipation of you getting larger.
Recently, Iâve constantly watched as you knock things over with that bare belly. After each time you had to come to me to tell me what problem your huge belly caused. And each time Iâd smile at you, tell you it was okay, and rub your belly gently. The skin had become so stretched even the slightest touch had you crying out from the sensation of it. Still you loved whenever I would touch it.
-
When you finally went into labor, 4 days overdue, you were out in the garden. You felt a few stronger contractions but you didnât think anything of it. Until one bad one sent you almost falling over and gripping the fence to stay up.
I could see you from the kitchen window, watching you to see if you needed help. You werenât trying to head inside so I figured it wasn't that serious yet. I decided to not intervene and just watch you go through a few contractions. When I finally saw you start to walk back towards the house I opened the back door.
âHow are you?â I ask, after I see you notice me looking at your exaggerated waddle.
âIâm in labor,â You say quickly to me. You donât look too panicked but I can tell youâre stressed.
âLetâs get you inside,â I say and quickly rush you in.
We had been preparing the last couple days for when your labor started. The spare bedroom had been converted into a birthing room. There was a bed, pool in the corner, a stack of fresh towels, water bottles, and pile of pillows of various sizes.
You begin to groan next to me. I can tell it's another contraction. You try to hide it by gripping the door frame for the spare bedroom.
âCome on let's get you resting,â I say and lead you into the bedroom.
We get you on the bed and comfortable. At least as relaxed as you can be with steadily growing painful contractions. You smile at me, thanking me for the help before another contraction is running through you.
We try to find distraction for you as you labor. Turning on the Tv, playing music, even just talking about work. But none of them lasted very long. Eventually you got tired of sitting in bed and requested to move to the couch.
You wiggled your way to the side of the bed. I grabbed your hands and helped you to your feet. We made the trip to the living room. It took much longer since you had to waddle your way there through a contraction. You didnât stop though, only held onto me and breathed through it.
When we finally arrived you were panting and your legs were tired from having the trip take so long. I gently sat you down on the couch.
âI should check how far along you are,â I say.
âOkay,â You reply.
We slide down your panties. You spread your legs as far apart as you can. I duck under your belly and start to look inside you.
âI think itâs about 8 cm. So pretty open already but your water hasnât broken yet.â I let you know.
After checking you is done, I sit down next to you and flip the tv on. I gently rub your belly as we watch it. You moaned and pant next to me for a few episodes of some reality tv show.
You were shifting around next to me when I suddenly heard a gasp from you. âI think my water broke.â
I look down between your legs. The couch was wet and your belly looks lower. âYeah, I think so too.â
You start to let out a real loud groan and grab my hand. You squeeze it tightly, moaning and gasping through what I can tell is a harsh contraction. When you finally let me go, I stand quickly.
âWe should get you to a better location,â I suggest.
You nod, âYes. The birthing pool, fill it up please.â
âIâll get it ready. Hold tight,â I say and run off to start the preparations.
It doesnât take long for me to set everything up. Still when I return to you youâre panting and pushing through a contraction.
âYouâre pushing already?â I quickly observe.
âMy body told me to,â You manage to get out while pushing.
âLet me check to make sure youâre far enough along,â I say. I make my way in front of you and start to look between your legs. âOkay yeah youâre far enough along. Letâs get you moving to the bedroom as fast as we can.â
âLetâs go now,â you pant. âMy contraction just ended.â
I got you up from the couch and we managed to make it to the hallway before you had to stop and squat to push. Your legs spread far apart to accompany the head filling your birthing canal. I squat behind you and rub your back and say encouraging things as you push.
When your contraction ends I offer you a hand to stand. You shake your head and begin to crawl to the bedroom, your belly rubbing the floor while you slowly make your way. You stop to push only once before you manage to make it there.
Iâve walked in before you to check the water in the pool. Seeing the pool a decent amount full, I turn the hose off just as I see you enter. I quickly come over and undo your bra, leaving you completely naked and ready to get in.
âLet me know when youâre good to get in,â I say.
You donât have time to answer before you groan through another contraction. You move your hips around and breathe through the pain. When it ends you quickly tell me to get you in the pool. I grab your hands and help you off the floor and into the pool.
The next contraction starts just as you sink down into the warm water. You push hard, the head just begins to peak out of your stretched hole.
âI can see it!â I say excitedly.
âI can feel him coming out too,â you pant out between contractions. They were almost on top of each other now, barely letting you take any sort of break.
You groan and push again. That groan turns into a scream as the baby reaches its full crown. The large head stretches your vagina to its limits. You shake and push to try and get it all the way out.
âOne moreâŚâ I say, seeing how far out the head is.
You take a few deep breaths then push once more. The head comes popping out with a gush of fluids, staining the water. You fall back catching your breath for a moment.
âAlmost done,â you whine. You then amp yourself up for one last big push. While you rub the head between your thighs as yoi wait for the next contraction. Soon you feel it, and with a final big push the baby slips free.
You fall back in the pool as I place the baby on your chest.
âYou did it!â I say proudly.
âYeah,â You turn your head away from the baby and up at me to say, âYou know I think I could maybe have another one.â

lol would it be weird if you made a âsceneâ between tramp soap orâŚ
since we all seen and read many scenes about hybrids or wtv
OR! if youre not up to that then can you extend on reader having a litter. About the owners reaction being totally flabbergasted at the growing roundness that was randomly thrown upon them and the difference in soaps behavior, extra protective, clingy and always there!!!
and the owners panicking when its time to have the litter, stressed from the sounds and reactions from reader
(NOT to be weird anything, im a vet and love when rescue animals have babies)
You know I actually just realized the other day that Iâve been weirdly chaste abt the hybrid shit lol. Iâm used to thinking abt being a catgirl or a bunnygirl or a doggirl getting FUCKED. But then I accidentally wrote nothing fucked up and nasty lmao.
In other words, youâre not weird.
cw: hybrids being fucking horny
Johnny does start hanging around initially because he loves your scent. A young, fertile lady. And heâs not going to deny itâ heâs a slut, and heâs got a thing for debutants. Spoiled girls, dressed up in bows and collars, perfectly groomedâ perfect for getting ruffled.
And when he first start meeting with you every morning, he has ulterior motives. Heâs planning on hitting it and quitting it. Heâs dreaming of you pinned under him, taking his knot as he fills youâ probably for the first time in your life.
(If itâs not, heâll bet youâve only had cold, clinical fuckingâ some high-born, boring stud picked out just so your owners can have little yous running around. It would make senseâ youâre clearly pedigree.)
Heâs used to girls like you treating him like a tramp, calling him a mutt, but finding themselves bent over and begging for it anyways.
So heâs a little caught off guard when youâre sweet. Bringing him treats from inside, playing with him in the yard, trying your best to introduce him to Price and Nik, oblivious to how they regard him as a nuisance at best. It just makes him want you so much more.
He decides to take it slow with you. He can tell youâre a little shy. He canât help but growl a little, deep in his chest, at the sounds you make when he paws at your breasts while he kisses you. (It was laughably easy to get you addicted to kissing, you were already so affectionate to him).
Heâs been visiting for a few weeks by the time you spread your legs and let him push his tongue into you, lots of him saying âyouâll like it, I promise, henâ. And heâs smug as hell when you cuddle into him after he makes you cum, kissing him and grinding against him instinctually.
The timeline of things just happens to play out in a proper way. Heâs become a right house pet by the time he dicks you down for real. A bit of a play chase for a bit, to get you excited, then he canât hold himself back anymore. Heâs rutting his hard, leaking cock against your wet cunt, teasing the tip against your clit until you beg him for it.
âYou wanâ me to fuck you, hen? Shove my knot in you and give you pups? Lassie, you dinnae ken how long Iâve wanted to do this.â
Thankfully, your owners were out that day.

Unforgettable (first kiss)
Azriel x OC
Word count: +5500
Summary: Who would think that a family dinner could turn into a reunion with female from the bookstore? However, certain members of his family treat her poorly and she ends up running away. Azriel can't forget her though and wants to see her again
Warnings: some cursing, IC having some issues and behaving unpleasantly
@azrielappreciationweek Day 5: No need for poetry Kinda part 2 of Unforgivable (sins), but can be read separately Dividers by @tsunami-of-tears
Azriel landed on lawn near entrance of the River House. It was already dark, but night was warm and smelled of cool river that flew behind the house and sweet magnolia. The smell of roast meat and apple pie wafted from the open kitchen window, reminding him that he hadn't eaten from the morning, and mixed with the smell of coming summer.
Trying to look at least a bit presentable, he ran his fingers through thick dark hair, brushing it back. The shadows already informed him that there's an unknown face in the house. He was exhausted and not in mood to meet someone new, but he already promised he would come for the dinner and the game night his family had every Friday.
Sighing heavily, he slipped into the building like a ghost, unnoticed. Everyone seemed to be already gathered in the dinning room, sounds of conversation and laughter echoed in otherwise quiet house. A paper bag from his favourite bookstore left in the entrance hall immediately caught his attention. As a spymaster he couldn't help it and peeked in. The familiar covers of books he had read, aroused his interest. Azriel assumed that the bag had to belong to the guest because his family usually didn't leave their stuff by doors. This piqued his interest in the mysterious newcomer.
He checked his face in the mirror, correcting his posture and glamouring the dark circles under his eyes. If possible, he wanted to avoid any questions about his wellbeing or comments full of worry. He already felt like shit and didn't want to dwell on it. He suddenly noticed the absence of his usual companions who loved to inform him about any insignificant details. Looking down the hallway, he found them peeking into the dinning room, pushing each other to get a better view.
He just rolled his eyes and got ready for the welcoming and his least favourite part - introduction.
His long legs quietly carried him to the threshold of the room. Everyone was already seated around the big table that buckled under the delicious-looking dishes, undoubtedly the work of the middle Archeron sister who smiling sat next to her mate. Azriel frowned at the sight. Nobody told him that Lucien was invited, too.
Rhysand, sitting at the head of the table, noticed him as first.
"Ah, finally here," he greeted him with his usual cocky grin. "We've been waiting for you."
"You could have started without me," Azriel retorted and quickly walked over to the only empty seat. He hated to be in the center of attention.
"When did you return? I didn't hear you go to your room," Cassian bawled from the other side of table.
"I found what I looked for this morning, but I had work to do in Hewn City." He didn't need to add more details. His friends already knew what kind of job he did there. Azriel's insides twisted at the memory, but he buried that feeling deep inside where no one could see it.
"By the way, Helion thanks you for the help," he turned to Rhysand who only nodded.
"I'll write him later. How did it go?"
Before Azriel could say anything, Feyre sighed at Rhys' side. "Boys, could you forget about the work at least for a moment? We have a guest tonight."
"Sure, Feyre darling," Rhys smiled at her and caressed her cheek. "I'm sorry. We'll discuss the details later."
"Azriel, let me introduce you my friend from Rainbow and fellow artist, Blaire. She came from Autumn court not so long ago and currently, she's slowly settling in our city and her new life."
Azriel looked to his left, in the direction Feyre showed. To his shame, he was in such hurry to get rid of all the prying eyes that he hadn't noticed that the unknown female sat right beside him.
He tried to smile down at small female with long dark brown hair. "Nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you, too, Azriel," she looked up at him with a shy but kind smile. He blinked in surprise. It was the same female he just met in the bookstore.
"Do you know each other?" Feyre's smile grew, noticing their surprised faces.
"Yes-.. Well, no," he mumbled.
"We met by chance in the bookstore today. I wasn't paying attention, tripped and bumped into him, yet he was so kind that he helped me gather the books that I dropped," Blaire explained. A lovely blush spread on her cheeks. "Again, I'm really sorry for that," she turned to him.
"No, it was my mistake. I was taking too much space in the aisle. I apologise."
"Interesting," Rhysand and Cassian said at the same time, watching the two of them with all-knowing grins.
Assholes, Azriel mouthed.
The shadows peeked from beneath the table, interested in the newcomer. Blaire noticed the movement and looked down. Azriel carefully watched her reaction, expecting her to freak out as most of people did when they found out the shadows could move on their own.
"Hey there," she whispered, eyeing them with interest. The shadows vibrated at the greeting and flew closer, curiously swirling around her, touching her arms, legs and hair. Blaire giggled, hiding it in her palm.
"My apologies," Azriel mumbled. "They are very curious beings and don't really respect personal space. Not even mine."
"It's okay," she answered, her fingers playing with cool tendrils.
Azriel's corners of the mouth twitched in a small genuine smile. Her reaction was refreshing. He finally relaxed into the chair, a bit stretching out his wings that he had held rigidly tugged to his back whole the time.
The dinner went smoothly, the light conversation over the meal was very pleasant and interesting. Azriel found himself listening carefully whenever someone asked something Blaire, eager to learn more about her. He'd like to blame it on an occupational disease, but it was just his natural interest in an attractive female.
He was so busy keeping an eye on her that he didn't even notice the cold glare Mor was sending their way all the evening. She didn't speak much nor ate, yet her glass needed to be refilled quite often.
After eating delicious meal everyone walked over to the sitting room were the conversation continued. However, it was Friday and as every Friday his friends took out their usual favourite games.
Bat boys sat down around small round table with cards and cheered by the females, they played as passionately and ruthlessly as only they could. Azriel got completely carried away by the game and his excessive competitiveness, and for a moment he forgot about everything that bothered him. He really enjoyed it.
After losing several times, Cassian grumbling gave the game up, wanting to play something he couldn't lose at. And so he took out the bottle.
The whole group gathered on sofas in front of the fireplace. This time everyone played. Well, almost everyone. Elain and Lucien moved to the corner of the room, quietly talking about something. Azriel watched them for a while, ire twisting his guts. He emptied his glass in one go.
"Easy," Rhysand whispered as he refilled his glass.
Azriel narrowed eyes at him. If he could, he would rather leave than to torture himself like this. When his gaze again moved to the couple, he couldn't see them anymore. Instead, Blaire with her soft smile sat opposite him, obscuring the view. In the heat of the game, he had almost forgotten she was there. She was quite quiet most of the time, looking rather shy, mostly talking only with Feyre. She didn't look like really wanting to play this kind of game, but Feyre had convinced her.
Cassian, seated next to his mate, spun the empty wine bottle and took a big gulp from his glass.
"Okay, guys, let's play," he growled, clapping his hands. This was his favourite game ever since Azriel knew him.
The bottle stopped, pointing to Mor who seemed to be already quite drunken, swaying from side to side even while sitting.
"Truth or dare?" Cassian grinned. Hot topics were his speciality and reason why he liked this game so much.
"Truth," Mor drank gulp of wine.
"Great! So.. are you dating someone now?"
Mor frowned at him, pouting. That was something she visibly didn't want to answer. For a moment, her eyes fell to Azriel sitting next to Cassian and something inside him stirred.
It wasn't so long since she finally told him that he had no chance with her as she prefered females. He accepted it more calmly than he actually felt and made peace with it. Though, it was hard get over the feelings and hopes he held on for so long. All the pain and longing that tortured him for centuries, was still there. A bit duller than months ago, but still too fresh. He wondered what was so bad about him, what he had done to be undeserving of love. Seeing so many happy couples around him, he wanted nothing more but to have someone who would accept his heart and return the feelings sincerely.
Holding breath, he looked down at his feet and emptied another glass. He didn't want to think about that now.
"I want dare then," Mor announced at last.
"So kiss Cassian," Amren barked before Cassian could open his mouth. Her silver eyes were at Nesta, cold and cruel.
Azriel in disbelief gaped at small female. His mate was literally sitting next to him, yet she dared Mor of all people to kiss him. By the murderous angry gazes two females were exchanging, Azriel could easily guess that they were again at each other's throat because of something that had happened while he was on the mission.
Blaire was eyeing them all in confusion. He felt sorry for her. This definitely wasn't the best first impression. He wouldn't be surprised if she never accepted invitation to dinner again. Feyre seemed to be of the very same opinion. She excused herself and went to the kitchen to prepare desserts, glaring at those four fools.
"Fine," Mor stood up on unsteady legs.
Cassian obviously hadn't noticed the mood in the room and grinning jumped up. Azriel turned away, not wanting to witness the kiss, neither Nesta's reaction. Despite everything, he liked Nesta. She earned his respect and he considered her his good friend. This was a real blow below the belt that she didn't deserve.
Next, Mor spun the bottle. Azriel watched it, his jaw clenched. He wished that the bottle fell off the table and broke into pieces to end this stupid game. Instead, it stopped, pointing to Blaire who nervously winced.
Mor raised a brow at her.
"Truth or dare?" Cassian asked excitedly. He was apparently the only one enjoying this.
"Well," she cleared her throat shyly. "The truth."
Mor grinned drunkenly. The shiver ran down Azriel's spine at the sight, already sensing some really unpleasant question coming.
"How many males have you slept with?"
Azriel froze on the spot. That really wasn't question for a female who just flet from Autumn Court and from the ridiculous rules she had to follow her entire life, and they all knew it very well, including Morrigan.
Blaire paled and then blushed, her soft green eyes wide open.
"You don't have to answer, dear," Rhysand assured her gently. "We all know that giving such questions to guests is inappropriate, right?" He turned his violet gaze to his cousin, the anger radiating from him. Even though he was quiet ever since the game had started, Azriel felt his cold rage rising like a tide with every minute.
"Oh, Rhys, don't spoil the game," Cassian sighed. "You can choose dare instead." He winked at fiercely blushing Blaire. She hesitantly nodded.
Morrigan gritted her teeth. Her drunken gaze jumped from Blaire to Azriel who couldn't take his eyes off of the female, ready to protect her if necessary.
"Kiss him," she pointed at Azriel.
Azriel's eyes shot to his ex long-term love interest in disbelief. It was as eyes-opening situation as a punch to the guts and he couldn't believe he hadn't noticed sooner what kind of person she was in real. How could he fall in love with someone so cruel who played with people and their feelings like with chess pieces? It shocked him so much that he hardly heard when Blaire excused herself and went looking for toilet.
Rhysand waited until she left out of earshot. "What. The. Fuck. Is wrong with all of you today?!"
The room fell silent, no one dared to even breath.
"She's Feyre's friend. What does she think about us now? Did you listen when Feyre warned you that she's from Autumn Court? That she had to run away from her home, so she could start to live anew and on her own terms? That girl has serious trauma. And you?! You really disappointed me today."
"You are right, Rhys," Cassian mumbled, scratching his beard. "Playing this game was really stupid idea. I'm sorry."
"Don't expect me to apologise. I have nothing to be sorry for," Morrigan grunted.
Azriel saw red for a second. He had enough for tonight. "Unbelievable," he growled. "I'm off."
With that he stood up and before anyone could say a word, he left.
Blaire was on verge of crying. She needed time to breath it out.
She really loved Feyre and was so grateful for everything she had done for her ever since Blaire came to this Court. When Feyre invited her to the dinner at her house to meet her family, Blaire was hesitant at first. However, sitting at the table she was glad she accepted the invitation. The dinner was delicious and Feyre's family seemed to be so nice and kind.
When the mysterious and handsome male who was so kind to her at bookstore, appeared on threshold.. well.. She was really excited. He was gloomy and looked kind of dangerous, but he radiated a strange aura of calm and peace that attracted her. He hadn't spoken much during the dinner, but she felt good sitting beside him.
The game evening hadn't started so bad too. It was kind of exciting to watch three males play cards. They were so serious about it that it was funny. Azriel seemed to completely relax during the game and she could secretly watch him. He was so interesting person. She already thought so when they briefly talked in the bookstore and now even more after getting to know him little better.
However, when they started to play the other game, they all changed all of sudden. Kissing male who was mated, was quite unthinkable for Blaire, as well as accepting such kiss. At that moment she wasn't sure what to think about them.
And when they asked her that question.. It was really uncomfortable and she felt as if she did something bad and somehow offended the blonde. The kiss dare was the last straw and she needed to leave.
Blaire was walking down the hallway, completely lost. Feyre showed her direction to the toilet when she arrived, but she was upset now and must have mistaken somewhere along the way. She turned the corner and got yet to another hallway with several doors. She wasn't sure what to do, so she tried the first doors on the left.
The room was dark, but she could make out an outlines of a large bed. She panicked and was about to again close the doors when she noticed shelves full of books. She hesitated. At last, she decided that it couldn't hurt if she took a look. She turned on lamp in the corner of the room and closed the doors.
The room faintly smelled of cedar and night-chilled mist. It was quite pleasant and calming scent. Her eyes wandered over the countless spines of the books, until she found one that caught her attention. It was the book she had bought earlier and now it was waiting for her in the bag at foyer. She couldn't resist and started reading.
She was so immersed in the story that she didn't hear the doors opened and closed.
"That one is good."
Blaire was startled, almost dropping the book. She pivoted and was met with piercing hazel eyes that in the soft light of the lamp looked golden-brown, like warm honey.
"I-I'm sorry.. I was looking for toilet.." she stuttered.
"And instead you found my room," Azriel smirked and one lovely dimple appeared. "What do you say to that?"
She gaped at him in terror. He was so tall that it was intimidating. He was leaning against the frame of door, hands crossed on his broad chest, a few dark strands falling to his eyes. His expression was unreadable.
When she didn't answer, he nodded to the book in her hands. "Do you like it?"
Ashamed she looked down at the book and then back up at him. "Y-yes, it's interesting."
Azriel just smiled and stepped closer. The smell of cedar and night-chilled mist became stronger. Blaire inhaled deeply, completely enchanted. He was too handsome and charming.
Head slightly tilted to the side, Azriel watched her carefully, searching her face. An enormous wings behind him rustled softly. His chest was heaving with quick breaths, full lips lightly parted.
Something cold brushed against her back and hands, snapping her out of the trance. "I-I'm sorry. I shouldn't have gone inside and touched your things. It was really rude of me."
"I don't mind," he chuckled.
His long fingers wrapped around the book, gently touching hers. When she didn't pull away, they travelled to her wrist, thumbs drawing circles over her pulse points. Holding her gaze, he slowly bent down. His hot breath fanned over her face.
Gods, he was so handsome. Blaire's heart was hammering in her chest, her body shivering with pleasure. Combination of his look and personality should be illegal. She was drawn to him like a flower to the sun. At this moment, she would gladly allow him to do to her whatever he wanted. Just him standing so close to her, touching her hands, made her feel more alive than ever. The enchantment changed into sweet pain that grew between her thighs.
"Are we still playing?" he asked with lips mere inches from hers, his voice hoarse.
Blaire blinked once, then twice. She suddenly sobered up. Realizing how much she was leaning into him, pushing him to the wall, she blushed. As if it wasn't enough that she invaded his private bedroom and touched his stuff.
"I'm so sorry," ashamed she ran away, leaving heaving Azriel with book in hand behind.
Blaire seemed to leave the house in haste that night. He didn't know whether she told her something, but when Feyre learnt how Morrigan treated her friend, she was mad. Azriel hoped she would mention her friend or try to bring her over one more time. Though, after what had happened last time, she most likely wouldn't come again.
Azriel couldn't forget that short moment in his room that he shared with Blaire. He was so close to kissing her. Her sweet scent lingered in his bedroom for days and he stayed there until it completely faded away. Then he returned to the House of Wind instantly feeling sorry for his choice. After the game night, everything was messed up and atmosphere in the House was suffocating at best.
Week passed without Blaire's name being mentioned again. Azriel grew restless. He still could feel her soft skin and rapid pulse. And those eyes and smile. He wanted to see her again even if only to apologise for scaring her away. That night he really hoped he could at least kiss her and ask her out. After all, mentioning that stupid game was bad idea. Maybe if he didn't, she wouldn't run from him and things would be different now.
She seemed to be attracted to him, too. No doubt there was a spark between them. He clearly felt it. He needed to meet her again to find out whether the spark could become a flame.
After thinking it over and over again, he decided to visit Feyre in her studio.
It was nice, sunny day and Rainbow was just as vivid as always. A pleasant melody flowed through the street, artists pulled out their easels and painted on the street. The sounds of laughter could be heard from everywhere, children ran among the people on a walk.
Azriel landed in front of Feyre's studio and after looking around for a while, he entered. She immediately looked up from her newest project and smiled.
"Oh, it's you. Everything alright?"
"Yeah, I suppose," he mumbled, not sure how to turn the conversation to the reason of his visit. He had prepared a speech, imagining the whole situation, but now when he was standing in front of her, it didn't seem to be such a brilliant idea as he originally thought. He felt awkward.
"Hmm, Az, I meant to say this sooner," Feyre put down the brush and wiping her hands, she fully turned to him. "I want to thank you for.. the way you treated Blaire before. You were probably the only one who bothered to behave normally and she said that she is glad she could meet you. She seems to like especially the chat about books, you two had, even though I'm not sure when it happened."
Azriel was stunned. Blaire really mentioned him? He'd like to know what exactly she said about him.
"Uhm, that was nothing," he shrugged. "I'm glad I met her, too.."
He felt the heat slowly spreading to his cheeks and turned around, pretending that he admired the paintings on the wall.
Feyre watched him with a small smile. "You like her, right? I noticed it during the dinner."
Azriel froze on the spot.
"No.. What?! I mean, yeah.. No!" he babbled, blushing more and more. He bit on his tongue and took a deep breath. When he calmed down he tried it again. "What I mean is that she is quite interesting and I'd like to talk to her again if I had the chance."
"I see," Feyre chuckled. "You seem to be a bit flustered today. Maybe a cup of tea in some nice cafe would make you feel better."
Azriel pivoted, brows raised. When he saw her expression, he understood.
"Maybe I should give it a try," he smirked. He bid her a goodbye and went out, blending in with the crowd on the street.
There was one lovely cafe at the opposite end of the street. It was in a quite quiet neighbourhood and one of the places Azriel liked to visit from time to time.
As soon as he opened the door, staff greeted him with smile and immediately prepared the tea he usually drank there. He took the cup and looked around. The inside of the cafe was spacious and cosy with tables set far enough apart that he didn't have to pay attention when walking between them. As usual, there were some customers, but it wasn't crowded. One of many reasons he liked this shop.
In the opposite corner he spotted the person he was looking for. Without hesitation he headed to her table.
Blaire was seated on chair facing the window, immersed in the book he recognised right away. The steam rose from the cup placed on the table in front of her, sweet scent of fruit tea surrounding her.
"We meet again," he murmured with genuine smile.
Her green eyes shot up to him, surprised.
"I- Nice to see you again," she blushed and made space for him.
He sat down, noting her progress with the book. "Have you already gotten to the part where he finally tells her the truth?"
She shook her head. "What kind of truth is it?"
"I won't spoil the surprise," he snorted.
"How cruel of you," she sipped from her cup of tea, hiding the blush in steam.
"I hoped to see you again," he watched her carefully. "I wanted to apologise."
"It's strange," she bit on her bottom lip. "I wanted to apologise to you, too. You know.. For invading your privacy and.." She hid her face behind the veil of her long hair.
Azriel reached out and taking her chin between fingers made her look at him. He wanted to see her face properly. "Don't. I quite liked that part."
Her eyes widened.
"Ever since I met you, I can't get you out of my head, Blaire," he purred lowly, watching with pleasure as she shivered and closed her eyes when he said her name. That was exactly the reaction he hoped for. He licked his lips. "There's a place I'd like to show you. Would you go with me?"
She considered his offer for a moment and then nodded. He helped her put her things to the bag and holding her hand led her from the shop. As soon as the narrow alley widened into a street, he picked her up and dashed to the sky.
Blaire couldn't believe what just happened.
After her shameful behaviour and run from his room, she was convinced that Azriel didn't want to even hear about her again. The day she came to terms with the thought that she would probably never meet him again, he appeared in her favourite cafe and came to her table. It was unbelievable.
Hearing him utter her name for the first time in the deep voice of his shattered her soul into pieces, and her heart melted into a puddle. She had no reason to believe him, they basically spoke only very briefly, but she knew he wouldn't hurt her. He wasn't like males of Autumn Court. He didn't treat her like a nuisance, like someone inferior. His calm and quiet nature was like a balm, the promise of peace. That was why she agreed to go with him so easily.
Flying with him was another exciting experience. Despite of keeping her so close, he carried her with respect. He wasn't trying to touch her in any inappropriate way, yet he held her firmly all the time. Being scared of heights, Blaire spent most of it with her face buried in his shoulder. However, his comments on the changing surrounding were too tempting and she dared to look down once or twice.
When they landed he put her down, steadying her until he was sure that she could stand on her own. Blaire looked around. They were in the middle of a forest, no living creature and no buildings in the sight. She swallowed hard, starting to doubt her decision.
Azriel just chuckled, walking down the path. "This way."
She followed him, biting on her bottom lip nervously. "Where are you taking me to?"
"You'll see soon." He seemed to be in quite a good mood. He even started to hum some nice melody lowly.
They walked for few minutes when the trees finally parted and they found themselves on the shore of a mountain lake, surrounded by tall trees and high mountains. A gentle breeze lightly caressed the surface of the otherwise calm lake, creating small waves. The sky above them was clear, the most most beautiful shade of blue with a few fluffy clouds flying high above their heads. The fresh air filled Blaire's lungs while the singing of the birds and rustling of leaves in the treetops caressed her senses.
And in the middle of that stood Azriel with his wings slightly stretched out, tall, powerful and unearthly beautiful. The light breeze was playing with strands of his dark hair and hem of his T-shirt. His face was calm and posture relaxed, his eyes shone like liquid gold. The shadows that followed him on every step, were dancing around his ankles, calling her closer.
Blaire wished she had paper and pencil with her to capture this unique moment.
"Here we are," Azriel smiled brightly. "This is my favourite place. When I feel bad and need to think about things in peace, I like to come here." He looked at her out of the corner of the eye, waiting for her reaction.
However, Blaire was stunned, completely speechless. She could only stand there, admiring the view. Her eyes lingered on small details, committing them to the memory, so she would be able to draw this later.
"You don't like it?" he hid his face, turning away.
Blaire opened mouth, looking for the right words and her lost voice. "I love it. It's so.. perfect."
Azriel breathed out in relief and walking to the lake, he took off his shirt and then even shoes and trousers.
Blaire knew that she shouldn't gaze at him, but she couldn't take her eyes off of him. His body was a masterpiece, showing off even the muscles she didn't know that existed. Dark lines of tattoos swirled around his shoulders, curling across his chest and back, creating complex patterns. She wondered what's the meaning of them.
Meanwhile Azriel plunged into the water and began swimming toward the middle of the lake.
"Why don't you join me?" he called back. "Water isn't so cold. It's refreshing."
Blaire blushed, wrapping arms around her chest.
"I-I don't have a swimwear with me," she called.
Azriel stopped and turned to her, thinking. "You can use my T-shirt if you want. I won't look, I promise."
Blaire looked down at clothes he left on the grass. To be honest, she wanted to swim with him even though she wasn't a good swimmer. It took her only a moment to decide.
"Fine, so.. don't look, please."
He smiled and turned his back to her. She picked up his T-shirt and quickly changed. There were cuts on the back for his wings and overall it was so big that it looked like a dress on her, falling all the way down to her knees.
"Done," she called shyly.
Azriel again turned to her, swimming closer. His eyes little darkened as he took her form in.
"It suits you better than me. You should keep it," one corner of his mouth stretched into one-sided smile. "Come."
Blaire carefully stepped into water and slightly trembled when cool liquid licked her ankles. "It's a bit cold."
"Only at the beginning. Once you dip in and start to move, it's fine."
Slowly she swam closer to him, hardly holding her head above surface.
"I'm not good swimmer," she admitted, when he grabbed her elbows, helping her.
"It's easy. Try to lay down on the water. I'm here, no worry."
Hesitantly, she did as he said, his big warm palms under her back and thighs.
"That's it. And now relax and let yourself be carried away."
"How?"
"Don't think about it much. Just.. let it happen."
Blaire took deep breath and relaxed, clearing her mind. Before she knew it, she was floating in the water.
"See? Easy," Azriel smiled, gently caressing her cheek.
Blaire opened eyes just to find him holding both hands up. She panicked and dipped below the surface for a moment.
"Carefully," he again grabbed her elbows, pulling her closer.
They gazed at each other, their bodies slightly touching under the water.
"Thank you," Blaire breathed out, mesmerized by his dimly shining eyes.
"I did nothing," his cheeks turned pink, his gaze switching between her eyes and mouth.
Hesitantly he pulled her even closer and she welcomed it. Their chests were brushing with every breath, the wet thin fabric creating no barrier between them. Blaire rested her hands on his shoulders, lightly holding on him and his warm palms slid down to her hips. Now there was only an inch between their lips, the tension growing.
"If you don't want it, say something or I.."
"Kiss me already," she whispered out of breath.
His plush lips crashed into hers. Azriel stayed like that for a single heartbeat and then with a small moan he started to move. His kiss was sweet and gentle, but Blaire didn't want him to be gentle. Entwining fingers with his silky dark strands, she lightly pulled on them. A growl vibrated through his chest and he submitted, deepening the kiss. He tugged her to his strong chest and she moaned when their hard and soft parts met. The moment her lips parted, he lashed forward. His tongue slipped into her mouth, exploring and caressing. He kissed her hungrily, his hands sliding up and down her body, caressing and squeezing.
She didn't notice that she was unknowingly pushing him under the water, but he didn't seem to mind it at slightest, not until they both ran out of air. Heaving they emerged, splashing the water all around.
"That.. was interesting," Azriel panted.
"Yeah, very," Blaire agreed still out of breath.
"But maybe it would be better without the water next time."
"Definitely," she agreed and they started to laugh.

Stolen moments
Lucanis Dellamorte x AFAB! (Crow) Rook
Warnings: SMUT, MNDI, Light voyeurism, Unprotected Sex, Penis in Vagina Sex,
You stayed near Viago exchanging pleasantries with anyone that approached the two of you. Word had spread all over Thedas about what you had achieved. How not one but two members of the Crows had fought to protect the world from the gods. So of course the Talons were going to proudly display them both. "You don't have to look so bored you know?" Viago joked from beside you, his eyes lighting up in amusement as he caught you scanning the room for the 3rd time that night. "Perhaps you should be a better company then" you retorted sarcastically causing the man beside you to laugh. "You're just angry I'm keeping you by my side and not letting you go to a certain someone" he teased, grinning as you turned your head trying to hide the giddish smile and blushing cheeks.
Between the aftermath of the battle and all the Contracts Viago had assigned you on due to your rise in popularity; you barely got to meet the newly appointed first talon. The time away wasn't doing either of you and good. His lack of sleep had begun to catch up, running off the last long sleep he had with you weeks ago. Your bodies craved each other, the tension with the eye contact you had managed to do during the evening was enough to begin causing the whirlpool of need in your lower stomach- no doubt having the same effect on him.
Viago chuckled when you finally saw him again, the swaying on your feet had come to a stop, your eyes widened in adoration. He was almost tempted to keep you at his side forbid you from going over there just because it was funny seeing you so desperate for someone. But you had both been through enough - held your responsibilities professionally making sure not to ruin either house's reputation. He was honestly surprised Lucanis hadn't begged him to let you go to House Dellamorte. "Go..I'll find Teia or something" he chuckled, a smirk grew on his lips as he watched your head whip round. Smiling wide at him. You didn't even thank him, just ran off weaving through the crowd in hopes to find the host of the evening.
He found you first, his hand grasping your wrist as he dragged you away from the evening. You wordlessly followed him down the endless corridors; enjoying the view from the back of your guide. The way his shoulders held such power and danger, his waist was just the perfect size. The muscles right under his shirt rippled as he walked, muscles you couldn't wait to dig your nails into the next time you got the chance. Perhaps Viago would be kind enough to let you stay the night, creating some excuse as to why you didn't leave the party with him to reduce chatter and gossip among the other crows. The door shut softly as he led you into a room, his eyes were soft as he gazed at you; that damn smile plastered on his face. The one that made you melt the first time finally admitted you felt, before you both faced impossible odds. "Rook."
You couldn't help the blush that decorated your cheeks from the sultry tone that left his lips as he called your name. You sighed as his hand touched your cheek. The feeling of his catolloused fingers was sorely missed, ones that had been shaped through years of killing much like your own. "I've missed you" he whispered as his arms enveloped your frame bringing you close. Lucanis was never one for a quick fuck, always wanting to make sure you both left the room completely satisfied or he would wait until he could do that. His hands had already begun slipping under the fabric of your top as he untucked it causing you to gasp when his cold hands made contact with the skin.
"I've missed you too, I think Viago got bored of hearing me complain about it" you chuckled. Lucanis smirked, his eyes darkening as he brought you in for another kiss. "I think we can make up for lost time no?" He grinned. You pulled back gazing at the man before you, his hair nicely trimmed along with his beard all for show to the houses that gathered tonight. "Isn't it rude for the host to slip away from their own party?" You teased as your fingers began to work on his clothing. A dark chuckle escaped his lips again before he pinned you against the door. "I'm sure people will be patient and distracted for a while"
His teeth nipped at your pulse point, saving the way it beat against his lips. He could hear Spite's satisfaction that you were well and truly alive and healthy. His fingers began to run down your sides, undoing the many layers of clothing that hid your body away from him. "Damn Viago for making you wear this many layers" he muttered against the marks he had left, claiming you. It would raise the gossip between everyone, all the houses will try and figure out who left the large purple mark for everyone to see but in this moment neither of you cared. After everything you had been through, why should either of you.
You stood bare against the door, the metal embellishments cold against the heat of your skin. You admired his build, somehow more toned than before. Your lips pressed feather like kisses over his heart earning sweet hums of contentment as he savoured the feeling. His hands found your thighs gripping them as he hoisted you against the door. You could feel his tip prod at the entrance, pre cum leaking eagerly against your folds. His hips moved slowly gathering the arousal that left your weeping entrance before he slowly slid himself in. The two of you are groaning at the feeling as your walls stretched to welcome the intrusion.
His pace was slow dragging the whole length out before he would bottom himself. Saving the way your walls clenched around him. His eyes shut as he attempted to steady himself, savour this feeling as neither of you know when you could get this chance again. His mouth twitched upwards into a smile as he hears your whines and whimpers, evidence that he was satisfying you perfectly. With new found confidence he increased his speed, the primal need to claim you began pulsing in his blood.
Your nails scratched down his back releasing deep groans from his lips. His hips started to sputter as he got closer to his release, your moans becoming breathy pants as your own shattered through you. You relaxed against the cool surface of the door, allowing him to continue to use you until he found his own release.
He buried himself deep as his cock finally twitched, his load spurting deep inside you filling you with warmth. His head rested on your shoulder breathing in your scent as he cooled down. Your fingers played with the strands of his hair grounding you. It was moments like this that you missed the most, the shared intimacy of the moment as you both relaxed. You loved how he became putty in your arms begging for the touch he never knew he needed.
You had both been through so much, your hands ran over the scars that littered his back some stories still untold but etched into his skin as haunted memories. Lucanis moved the two of you away from the door, unsheathing himself as he settled you on the chair. "I've missed you" he whispered embracing you. His missed the feeling of you in his arms, where he knew you were safe. "I've missed you too" you chuckled, relishing in the skin to skin contact you both craved. You both may be busy now but you know in your heart you'll always return. "Can't wait for the night to end and I can finally sleep in your arms again...I've needed it badly"
You smiled at him watching the way his eyes relaxed as you brushed your fingers through the strands of his hair. "Maybe we should go back and end the night quickly..and then I'll make sure to leave the door unlocked for someone to possibly enter" you whispered. Lucanis chuckled against your neck breathing your scent one last time before getting dressed again ready to face the rest of the event with few found goals for the end of the night.

Change (In the house of flies)
poly! caitvi+reader angst [but its all cait for this part]
SPOILERS FOR SEASON 2 EP 3
You hear your front door open, Its been about a week since you've seen your girlfriends and you're worried. They went on this 'big mission' that warented goodbye sex,,, so yeah, you where scared.
"Cait? Vi?" you see Caitlyn first, hair messy and clothes bloodied, you almost start to cry and you rush to hug her but she just pushes you off "Stop" she sounds heartless "what happened Cait?" you ask, desperately trying to find out if Vi was alive or not "She stopped me" "Stopped you from what?" you ask shakily "Killing Jinx, there was this stupid child in the way an--" you cut her off "A child?" you ask, trying to get a read of any emotion that isn't just anger, "Yes! why do I have to repeat myself? God you don't get it, I had to kill her, for my mom, so what if I could've killed the kid?" she snaps, you pause and stop worrying about her.
You and Vi grew up together in the undercity, dating all those years ago but when she got put in prison you assumed she got killed by enforcers, everyone did. So when she finally finds you after hunting you down you cry, you thought she was gone, you told the firelight children stories of her, but there she was,, hugging you and kissing all over your face. Imagine the surprise on your face when she told you that an enforcer took her away for no reason that night, of course an enforcer would do that, they killed her parents--killed yours, twice, why not put some kid in jail?
That brings you back to now, a blank but still surprised look on your face "what did you say?" you ask breathlessly, backing up from her tall figure "Oh come on y/n you know I wouldn't have missed" she hisses at you, throwing her shotgun on the floor "God.. who are you..?" you ask in disbelief, your sweet, funny Caitlyn? no, Whatever that is isn't her, that isn't the same girl who gave you the money to have your own apartment in Piltover because the trip to her house was too far from Zaun, this isn't the Caitlyn who bashfully confessed at the same time as vi, this isn't the same Caitlyn who cuddled you and Vi to sleep, this just isn't her. You back up once more "Where's Vi?" you ask shakily, praying she didn't shoot her "She got in my way" she said coldly, her eyes boring into yours "Caitlyn what does that mean--" she cuts you off "Hopefully where I left her" what..?
"Cait what the fuck does that mean" you ask, praying to Janna she didn't mean what you thought she meant while putting on a coat and grabbing your gun, she sighs "At the bottom of some windpipe thing, she was crying, where are you going?" oh so she cares about another person,, "I'm gonna find her Cait! Why the fuck would you leave her there?" you ask angrily, grabbing your mask "Because she stopped me." she says coldly "I have matters to attend to I must leave" "What do you mean you must leave Cait?? What about Vi, What about us??" you yell at her, first time for everything you guess. She sighs, taking a disappointed breath into her hand as she picks up her shotgun "You don't understand what those animals did, I'm leaving--" "If you leave I do, stay Cait please, come with me to find Vi" you beg, you don't even know where they went, you where lost, just like when Benzo found you.
"Then I guess your gone" She says coldly without a word, silently leaving and heading to her home.
"w--wait Cait please come back-- Caitlyn!" you run after her, you catch up and try to gently grip her wrist "Please Cait just--" she hits you in the gut with the back of her gun, unbeknownst to you after having done the same to Vi, you sob and collapse while holding your side as she walks away without a word.
fuck.
'i understand now' you think while she walks away, you get up and head straight to Zaun, still holding your aching liver. You couldn't just let Vi stay there--wherever she was all by herself, not again, you couldn't bare the thought of her being in a tiny cage, cold and alone again.

UNEXPECTED TURNS - PART 1
OBX X TVD FANFICTION
jj maybank x gilbert!reader x rafe cameron
-
Y/n woke to the soft, steady crash of waves breaking in the distance, the ocean breeze carrying the faint cries of seagulls through the thin curtains of her guest room. For a moment, the tranquility made her forget where she was. Her surroundingsâpolished wooden floors, crisp white linens, and furniture that looked like it belonged in a coastal interior design catalogâwere a stark contrast to the comforting chaos of Mystic Falls.
She sat up, glancing at the half-unpacked suitcase in the corner. The realization of her new reality hit her like a wave crashing against the shore. She was here in the Outer Banks, not for a vacation or a summer escape, but because life had crumbled beneath her feet. Her parents were gone. Elena and Jeremy were back home, dealing with their grief in their own ways, and she had runâran to a place that held memories of simpler, happier times.
Her phone buzzed on the nightstand, the screen lighting up with a message from Elena: How is it there?
Y/n stared at the message for a moment, unsure how to respond. The truthâthat she felt adrift, out of place, and unsure if sheâd made the right choiceâfelt too heavy to put into words. Instead, she typed back a simple Fine and put the phone back down.
A sharp knock interrupted her thoughts, and before she could answer, Sarah Cameron strode into the room, her energy radiating like the morning sun. She was dressed in a cropped tank top and cutoff shorts, her long blonde hair loosely braided over her shoulder.
âGood, youâre awake!â Sarah said, a mischievous grin lighting up her face.
âBarely,â y/n muttered, rubbing her eyes.
âCome on, sleepyhead. Weâre going out. Topper and I are giving you the full OBX tour today. Youâve been back for twenty-four hours, and all youâve done is mope around the house.â
Y/n groaned. âDo I have a choice in this?â
Sarah tilted her head, pretending to think. âNope. Wear something cute but comfortable. And maybe sunglassesâyouâve got that whole âmourning my tragic pastâ thing going on.â
âWow, thanks for the pep talk,â y/n said dryly, throwing a pillow at her.
âYouâre welcome!â Sarah said with a laugh, dodging the pillow and disappearing back into the hallway.
Fifteen minutes later, y/n found herself crammed into the back seat of Sarahâs Jeep with Topper Thornton riding shotgun. The Jeep bounced along the winding roads of the Outer Banks, the salt air whipping through the open windows. Sarah drove like she owned the place, one hand on the wheel while the other gestured wildly as she pointed out landmarks.
âThis is the marina,â Sarah said as they drove past a stretch of shiny docks lined with boats. âDad expanded it last year. Itâs mostly for tourists, but some of the Kooks rent slips here too.â
Topper smirked. âLocals? You mean Kooks. You wonât catch any Pogues around here unless theyâre trying to steal something.â
Y/n frowned, leaning forward. âAre we seriously still doing this Kooks-versus-Pogues thing? I thought that was just a dumb rivalry from when we were kids.â
âItâs worse now,â Sarah said, rolling her eyes. âItâs, like, a full-on war. But donât worryâyouâre with us, so youâre golden.â
Y/n wasnât so sure she liked the idea of being lumped in with the Kooks, even if her family connections to the Camerons made it unavoidable. She remembered spending summers here as a kid, running around barefoot on the beach and climbing trees with Sarah, before the lines between Kooks and Pogues had mattered. Back then, the Outer Banks had felt magical. Now, it felt like a place where the air was thick with unspoken rules and expectations.
The Jeep rattled onto a dirt path leading to the beach, where Sarah parked haphazardly before hopping out. Topper followed, stretching his arms over his head, and y/n climbed out after them, shielding her eyes against the bright sunlight.
âThis is the north side,â Sarah said, sweeping her arms out dramatically. âThe best beaches, the best views, the best people.â
Topper snorted. âBasically, itâs where we are. Anywhere else? Pogue territory.â
Y/n ignored his comment, instead letting her gaze drift to the stretch of shoreline. The beach was beautiful, with golden sand that seemed to stretch on forever and turquoise waves crashing against the shore. She could see groups of people scattered across the sandâsome sunbathing, some playing volleyball, and others gathered around coolers and umbrellas.
âThis is where the bonfire will be tonight,â Sarah said, nudging y/n. âYou have to come. Itâs tradition.â
âBonfire?â y/n asked, raising an eyebrow.
âEveryone goes,â Sarah said. âWell, everyone worth knowing.â
Topper smirked. âTranslation: itâs a Kook thing. Donât expect any Pogues to show up unless theyâre looking for trouble.â
âNoted,â y/n said, feeling a twinge of unease at the casual way Topper dismissed the Pogues. She remembered them from her childhoodâlocals who lived on the island year-round, working hard and making do with what they had. Back then, the divide between Kooks and Pogues had felt stupid and arbitrary. Now, it seemed like it had calcified into something much worse.
-
By the time night fell, the beach was unrecognizable. The sky was painted in deep shades of orange and purple, the air alive with the scent of salt and smoke from the massive bonfire at the center of the gathering. Music blasted from portable speakers, and clusters of people stood around laughing, drinking, and dancing.
Y/n followed Sarah and Topper through the crowd, feeling a little like an outsider as they stopped every few feet to greet someone. Sarah was in her element, her golden hair glowing in the firelight as she waved and hugged friends.
âStick with us,â Sarah said, glancing over her shoulder at y/n. âItâs a lot at first, but youâll get the hang of it.â
Y/n nodded, though she wasnât so sure. The energy around her was electric, but it was also overwhelming. She felt like she was watching from the outside, unable to find her footing in the chaos.
âRelax,â Sarah said, nudging her. âYou look like youâre at a funeral.â
âThanks,â y/n said dryly.
Before Sarah could say anything else, the sound of shouting cut through the music. Y/n turned toward the commotion and saw a group of boys shoving each other near the edge of the crowd.
âPogues,â Sarah muttered under her breath.
Y/n frowned, stepping closer to get a better look. The boys were clearly outnumbered, but they didnât seem fazed. One of themâa tall blond with a cigarette tucked behind his earâwas grinning like he found the whole thing amusing.
âOf course, itâs J.J. Maybank,â Sarah said, sighing. âThat kid is nothing but trouble.â
Before y/n could respond, another voice cut through the chaos.
âHey! Back off.â
A boy with shaggy brown hair and a bandana stepped forward, his tone calm but commanding. The tension in the air shifted, and after a few moments, the Kooks backed off, muttering insults under their breath as they walked away.
âLetâs go,â Sarah said, grabbing y/nâs arm.
But y/n couldnât help stealing one last glance at the group of Pogues as they disappeared into the shadows. The blond caught her eye, his lopsided grin flashing in the firelight.
-
The next morning, y/n couldnât stop thinking about the Pogues. There was something magnetic about themâsomething raw and unpolished that stood in stark contrast to the carefully curated world of the Kooks. Their confidence, their camaraderie, the way they seemed to care so little about fitting into the mold of the Outer Banks hierarchyâit intrigued her.
When Sarah suggested another beach day, y/n quickly agreed, hoping for an excuse to escape the polished monotony of the Cameron household and maybeâjust maybeârun into the Pogues again.
After an hour of tanning and half-listening to Sarah gossip about Kook drama, y/n excused herself to take a walk down the shoreline. She strolled aimlessly, the ocean breeze cooling her sun-warmed skin, until she caught sight of a group gathered by a rickety boat on the far end of the beach.
At first, she thought it might just be another group of locals, but then she spotted the unmistakable blond from the bonfire. J.J. Maybank. His stance was casual, leaning against the side of the boat with a cigarette tucked behind his ear, while the others were unloading supplies and joking around.
Her heart raced as she approached, though she wasnât entirely sure why. Maybe it was curiosity, or maybe it was the subtle rebellion of walking away from Sarahâs world and into theirs.
âHey,â she called out as she got closer, her voice tentative but steady.
The group turned to look at her, their chatter halting mid-sentence. For a moment, y/n felt like an intruder, but then J.J. smirked, his blue eyes lighting up with mischief.
âWell, well,â he drawled, pushing off the boat and sauntering toward her. âIf it isnât the Kook princess from last night.â
Y/n frowned, crossing her arms. âIâm not a princess.â
J.J. tilted his head, pretending to consider her words. âNo? Sure about that? Youâre dressed the part. What are thoseâdesigner flip-flops?â
âTheyâre normal flip-flops, you jerk,â y/n shot back, though her voice was more amused than offended.
Before J.J. could retort, another voice chimed in. âLeave her alone, J.J. You donât have to scare off everyone we meet.â
A boy with shaggy brown hair and a bandana stepped forward, a friendly smile on his face. He extended a hand toward y/n. âIâm John B. Sorry about himâhe was born this way.â
âY/n,â she said, shaking his hand.
âNice to meet you,â John B. said, his smile widening. âSo, what brings you to this side of the island? Donât Kooks usually stick to their yachts and country clubs?â
âMaybe I needed a change of scenery,â y/n said, glancing between them. âBesides, I grew up hereâwell, summers, at least. Iâm not completely out of place.â
âSummers, huh?â another voice said. A tall, broad-shouldered boy with a serious expression looked up from the crate heâd been tying down. âThat makes you Kook-adjacent at best.â
âPope,â John B. said, rolling his eyes, âwe donât need to analyze her credentials.â
âI wasnât analyzing,â Pope replied, shrugging. âJust making an observation.â
Y/n grinned. âFair enough. And you areâŚ?â
âPope,â he said simply, giving her a nod.
âDonât let him fool you,â a girl chimed in as she emerged from behind the boat, brushing sand off her hands. âHeâs nicer than he looks. Iâm Kiara, by the way.â
âY/n,â she said again, instantly warming to the girlâs laid-back vibe.
âWait, wait, wait,â J.J. interrupted, stepping into her line of sight and holding up his hands. âLet me get this straight. Youâre telling me youâre a Kookââ
âNot a Kook,â y/n corrected.
âWhatever,â J.J. said with a wave of his hand. âYouâre a Cameron?â
Y/n sighed. âTechnically, Iâm staying with the Camerons. My parents used to be friends with Ward. But that doesnât mean Iâm part of their world, okay?â
âWow,â J.J. said, leaning closer with a mock-serious expression. âThat almost sounded convincing.â
âJ.J., give it a rest,â Kiara said, smacking him on the arm.
Y/n couldnât help but laugh. Despite J.J.âs teasing, there was something endearing about his energy, the way he seemed to delight in stirring up trouble.
âSo,â John B. said, cutting through the banter, âwhat do you think of the OBX so far? Youâve been back, what, a couple days?â
âItâs⌠different,â y/n admitted, choosing her words carefully. âItâs not like I remember it. Everything feels more divided. Like everyoneâs stuck on which side of the island they belong to.â
âWelcome to the new normal,â Kiara said dryly. âKooks versus Pogues. Itâs like a soap opera that never ends.â
âExcept way more fun,â J.J. added, tossing a small fishing net into the boat. âIf youâre on the Pogue side, that is. Kooks donât know how to have a good time.â
âRight,â Pope said, his voice laced with sarcasm. âBecause youâre the poster child for wholesome fun, J.J.â
The group laughed, and y/n found herself smiling along with them. Their dynamic was infectiousâlighthearted but grounded in an unspoken bond that she could already sense.
âSo, whatâs the deal with the boat?â y/n asked, gesturing toward the worn but sturdy-looking vessel.
âThis beauty?â John B. said, patting the side of the boat affectionately. âThis is the HMS Pogue. Sheâs our ticket to freedomâand occasionally trouble.â
âAnd sometimes sinking,â Pope added.
âOnly once,â John B. said defensively.
âAnd we fixed her,â Kiara added, shooting a glare at Pope.
âBarely,â Pope muttered, earning another round of laughs.
Y/n felt herself relaxing more with each passing minute. She wasnât sure how it had happened so quickly, but something about the Pogues felt easyânatural. They didnât seem to care where she came from or what sheâd been through; they just welcomed her into their orbit like sheâd always belonged.
âSo, y/n,â J.J. said, his voice drawing her attention back to him. He was leaning against the boat again, his blue eyes gleaming with curiosity. âIf youâre not a Kook, and youâre not exactly a Pogue, what does that make you?â
Y/n thought for a moment, a small smile tugging at the corner of her lips. âI guess Iâm just⌠me.â
J.J. grinned, pushing himself upright. âFair enough. But if youâre gonna hang with us, you better be ready for some adventures. We donât do boring.â
âGood thing Iâm not looking for boring,â y/n replied, her tone playful.
J.J. raised an eyebrow, clearly impressed. âI like her already.â
âSheâs definitely got potential,â Kiara agreed.
âWell, Iâll take that as a compliment,â y/n said, crossing her arms.
John B. clapped her on the shoulder. âYouâre officially a provisional Pogue. Congratulations.â
âProvisional?â y/n asked, laughing.
âDonât worry,â Pope said with a smirk. âThe barâs pretty low.â
As the group dissolved into laughter again, y/n realized that for the first time since arriving in the Outer Banks, she felt like she was exactly where she was meant to be. The Pogues were chaotic, irreverent, and maybe a little reckless, but they were also real in a way that no one else on the island seemed to be.
And something told her that this was only the beginning.

ALL THAT GLITTERS
izuku midoryia x reader
synopsis: everything isnât always as it seems
authors note: this is an old one that i just quickly finished. not proof read.
âdeku look over here!â
âsmile for the camera!â
âwhy is it that youâre leaving so early?â
izuku had his hand positioned at the small of your back. he led you through the hoard of paparazzi that was blocking your only way of escape. every time that he thought one of them was getting too close, heâd pull you in closer.
the flashes of the cameraâs blinding you on your journey, but there was a moment when you finally saw a clear path. grabbing on tight to his hand, you quickly made your way towards the car leaving the paparazzi confused.
izuku got himself two strides in front of you just so he could open the car door.
always the gentleman.
you slid into the car with him following quickly after. there was a smile on your face watching as he escaped in the nick of time. laughter rang out seeing the paparazziâs attempt to follow the now moving car down the street. you turned your body back to face the window on your side.
âthat was funâ
âyeahâ
a tired sigh passed your lips, but he didnât turn to ask if you were to tired to walk when you got home. he hasnât been doing that lately.
though to be fair, you hadnât been doing things either. lunchboxes that used to be filled to the brim with homemade bento now sit empty and cold on the counter. the warm baths you used to fill for him after work run cold.
for the past year your relationship had changed. izuku got busier, and busier each day. this stopped those date nights you used to have at that secluded restaurant. and his night shifts ceased your light night cuddle sessions.
you had decided that if he was going to be burying himself in work, why not do the same?
volunteering had taken over most of your hours so you wouldnât be in that big house all alone. it had filled a place in your heart that you thought youâd lost. seeing the smiles on peopleâs faces every time youâd give them a care package. or that laugh of children when you did something funny when you read at the hospital. and they loved you as well. a non-profit had reached out to you with a job offer.
your cheek was pressed against the leather of the car door, breathing slow and steady.
âyouâre coming tomorrow right?â you asked without turning to him.
âto what exactly?â you didnât even need to look to know that his eyes didnât leave his phone.
âtheyâre opening the new wing of the hospital weâve been working on. the one for research of rare diseases?â now you sat yourself up turning to him. he finally looked up eyes glazed over and confused.
âizuku cmon. i told you about this weeks ago. told you to put it in your calendarâ
ây/n you know iâve been busy. i told you if you had an event tell my assistant and sheâll put it in for me-â
you scoffed at his words.
âoh iâm sorry. i thought my husband, the man who lives in the same house as me, could take two fucking seconds to put something in his calendar. as if youâre not already always on your phoneâ
his body turned towards you. you saw the furrow of his brows and the squint in his eye.
âi donât understand why thatâs a problem? if you wanted me to come thatâs all you had to do. remember what the therapist said-â
âsince when do you listen to the therapist? remember when she said make time in your schedule for something other than your job?â
his pressed his lips together in a thin line. the coolness from your cheek had faded from the warm anger that was now flooding your body.
âokay, weâve both made mistakes, and iâm sorry for mine. baby, you know i just canât be everywhere at onceâ
âyou could, just not for meâ you mumbled under your breath âcan you just go tomorrow? if itâs not for me itâll be good pr for youâ
silence, again.
âiâll see what i can doâ
âno, you wonât see what you can do. youâre going to show up with that deku smile on your face and pretend to be happy with me. i have been supportive through whatever,â you motioned between him and you âthis is. iâve went to your events, and iâve played the picture perfect wife. now itâs your turn. because if you donât show up i donât know how much longer if this i can takeâ you pressed your two fingers against your forehead, your thumb landing on your cheek âfor fucks sake.. ever since youâve gotten that suit youâve been on a rampageâ
both of his eyebrows scrunched up as he turned to you ârampage? you mean saving the fucking city? why canât you just be happy for me huh? i mean this is all that iâve ever wanted you know that. so what? now youâre just deciding that because iâm a hero iâve changed everything about myself?â
âi mean have you looked in a mirror lately? i donât even recognize you izukuâ
the car came to a rolling stop in front of the dream home he had bought for the two of you as soon as he cut his first hero check. he let out an annoyed puff of air out of his nose, head shaking âsorry i canât slow down my life for youâ
you opened your own door this time getting out without another word.
cameras flash once again to commemorate the new wing of the hospital, and yet izuku is nowhere to be found.
more questions flood in about his absence than about what good the wing will do for the community, because your life simply didnât matter anymore.
izuku came home early evening that night. soft grunts as he leaned over to unstrap his boots and shed off the heaviest parts of his costume. his eyes settled on the hall closet you had designated just for his things. you always hated when he didnât put his stuff in the closet where it belonged. with a sigh, he opened up the closet hanging his suit in a rather orderly fashion. it shut with a soft click which soon followed by the sound of his quiet footsteps through the house.
âbaby.. iâm sorry i couldnât make it todayââ
the room was completely empty albeit the sundown rays that flowed through the huge windows you begged him for. gold ran across every surface making him squint just a little, but that wasnât the only thing. a small shimmer of light reflected off of the countertops eventually capturing his attention. he walked closer, his steps constant and hushed. he picked up the object his face never changing.
your wedding ring.
the light shone through the diamond making fractures of light dance around the counter below. izukuâs throat went dry no matter how many times he tried to swallow and cure it.
he placed the ring back after what felt like forever moving his attention to the open patio door. every step he took felt like the same one over at over again. was he even moving at this point? when he felt the subtle heat of the fading sun he knew he had made it out. to you.
there you were. feet up on the couch hugging your knees close. there was a beer bottle in your hand. mustâve been half gone already. you turned your head to him for a split second before turning your focus back on the sunset. it was just too beautiful to ignore.
izuku rubbed one hand over his face. he opened the small fridge at the bar next to the patio taking out the same beer bottle. he sank next to you on the couch quickly cracking it open. it was just too beautiful to ignore.

Media Literacy requires reading the entire context of a quote and analysing what it is alluding to. Chapter 6 of Order of the Phoenix for anyone trying to find Siriusâs full quotes.
TLDR: See highlighted text
Context: The Noble and Most Ancient House of Black is an allusion to the titles of Englandâs peerage. The old wizarding families view themselves as equals to royalty and are treated as such by many in the wizarding world. Like most royals, however, the heads of those families stay out of politics publicly.
For example, when Harry asks Sirius if his parents were Death Eaters, Sirius says, âNo, no, but believe me, they thought Voldemort had the right ideaâ and âI bet my parents thought Regulus was a right little hero for joining up at first.â
Context: Voldemort was a charismatic political leader at first, he didnât announce his violent intentions publicly. Sirius says, âthere were quite a few people, before Voldemort showed his true colours, who thought he had the right idea about things. They got cold feet when they saw what he was prepared to do for power.â
Additional context: JKR has a Classics degree. The Death Eaters are an allusion to the cult of Lotus Eaters in Greek myths. People who consumed a narcotic plant that caused them to forgot about their families and homes. They lost all sense of individual identity and fully devoted themselves to the cult, as is expected of the Death Eaters in HP.
There is zero evidence that Regulus actually committed any âhorrible thingsâ as a Death Eater. He was 16 when he joined the Death Eaters with his friends, and still attending Hogwarts. More likely he was viewed by Voldemort as a mascot, proof that Voldemort had the support of the old wizarding families (i.e. the royal family). Regulus died by the age of 18, and in that time, he discovered Voldemortâs use of horcruxes, figured out what they were, and attempted to destroy the only one he knew about (via Kreacher).
Sirius even admits that he âfound out after he (Regulus) died, he got in so far, then panicked about what he was being asked to do and tried to back out.â He describes his brother as âsoftâ because Regulus never questioned their parentsâ brainwashing, behaved as the dutiful son they wanted, and yet still couldnât follow through with Voldemortâs orders. Sirius is calling him weak for blindly following his parents and Slytherin friends, as well as cowardly for not fighting for his beliefs. He does not know that Regulus tried to take Voldemort down.
Sirius does know that his brother tried to leave. As he says, Regulus was forced to stay because, âWell, you donât just hand in your resignation to Voldemort. Itâs a lifetime of service or death.â The Death Eaters are a cult, they donât allow their members to leave.
Reasonable Conclusion: Regulus was a brainwashed teenager who fell for the political rhetoric of a charismatic leader who reinforced his parentsâ beliefs before he learned of Voldemortâs violent intent. He wanted political power and supported the idea of purebloods (i.e. the monarchy) running wizarding society. No one mentions Regulus committing a violent act. Not even Bellatrix, who likely would have taunted Sirius with that information in their duel.
Sirius describing Regulus as soft in cannon never fails to upset me, cause Regulus was a death-eater, he was a death-eater and he willingly signed up for it when he was SIXTEEN years old. Regulus was not soft. Sirius saw him as soft because no matter what horrific things Regulus did. he was still Sirius's little brother.
Sirius describes him as soft because he looks past all of the horrible things Regulus did and sees the wide eyed kid that he loved.
Sirius describes him as soft because he chooses to see the kid Regulus used to be over the man he became.

thinking a lot about rhiannon whoâs had a long day and just wants to curl up in your arms :( maybe her coworkers gave her a hard time at work, or worse yet, didnât give her any time at all. she comes home so so quiet and reserved, just sinking into your embrace and wishing the world would go away. you taking her into your arms, gently kissing the top of her head and holding her so close, reminding her that youâll always see her and sheâs always got a place in your heart and home.
mm also could i claim đŚ? :3
of course! hi đŚ anon! <33
rhiannon is such a sweetheart oh my god guyssss!!! :(( touch-starved shauna this, touch starved shauna thatâŚwhat about touch-starved rhiannon??
rhiannon who has been alone most of her life and has been feeling extra isolated ever since her dad died. it was when she lost the last person who truly saw her. the last person who cared. sure, sheâs found a new hobby inâŚwell, killing people. and while itâs been the perfect outlet for her pent-up anger and rage, rhiannon still feels hollow as she gets home covered in the blood of her victim, with no one there to wash it off and kiss her bruised knuckles better.
she soaks herself up in the bathtub (that seems too large to hold only her slender frame) to get rid of the blood and is embarrassed to be crying all on her own, with no one there to help her reach the spots she cannot get or to hold her now that sheâs breaking down :(
that all changes she meets you!!
youâre different from anyone sheâs ever met: youâre kind to her, and you donât treat her like sheâs invisible. in fact, youâre the first person who seems to see her.
rhiannon has no idea what sheâs done to deserve you, but from the moment you guys get together, she knows sheâll do anything to protect you. to keep you. coming home to someone waiting becomes the best part of her day: getting to take her coat off to the smell of your cooking and the faint sounds of your music playing. youâre everywhere and rhiannon loves that: your shoes in the hallway, next to her own. your clothes in her closet. your toothbrush and shampoo in the bathroom. your warmth that she wakes up to every morning. all that once was only hers, has become yours too. her house is so full of constant reminders of you (so full of life), rhiannon can hardly consider it her own anymore.
even on the rougher days, when her coworkers had been giving her a hard time, thereâs still the silver lining of being in your presence once she gets home.
you can immediately tell when something is wrong just by the way rhiannon enters the space. sometimes, she only gets home late, when youâve already gotten comfortable in bed. but youâll never, ever go to sleep before your girlfriend has joined you. the pre-sleep cuddles are worth the wait!!!
when she comes in, exhausted from her day, you just know something is off. youâre proven right when you lift the blanket, a silent invitation, and rhiannon crawls into the comforting warmth with a soft sob. thatâs another thing about having you around: she can allow herself to be weak. knowing youâre there to hold her together, she can fall apart a little.
âwhatâs wrong?â you gently whisper to her temple, combing your fingers through her hair. âdo you wanna talk about it?â
she does, but not now. now, she wants to be held. so rhiannon shakes her head against the crook of your neck where sheâs got her face buried.
âmâkayâ you hum patiently above her, pressing your lips to her forehead. she doesnât tell you about about her coworkers being dismissive yet, or the way her ideas were ignored during the meeting. she just holds on to you, hands clutching your shirt as if sheâs afraid you might slip away, her voice muffled as she whispers, âi hate it there sometimesâ. that only confirms your suspicions and tells you all that you need to know. she tries to keep it together, she really does, but the second you run your fingers through her hair or kiss the top of her head so lovingly the dam breaks. itâs not even dramatic or loud: itâs soft, silent, like sheâs afraid to let herself be this vulnerable. you only hold her tighter, whispering reassurances in her ear, reminding her that sheâs not alone.
rhiannon, who can allow herself to shrink in your arms without having to worry about anything at all <33 she doesnât even realize how exhausted she is until sheâs wrapped up in you. her breathing evens out, her hand clutching at your shirt loosening as she drifts off without even intending to fall asleep.
guys sheâd be so clingy too, coming from the bathroom after washing the blood off. in the colder months sheâd be racing back to the comfort of the blankets in nothing but that oversized robe, her bare feet stumbling over to you before her weight slams down and the mattress bounces under the impact. she would instantly cuddle up against you, shivering a little and complaining about the cold.
rhiannon lewis you are so dear to me godddd!!!
